The air was full of dust and smoke, several dragons were fleeing, leaving only Aztec behind. He was scared, confused, but mostly angry. A dragon of color crimson stood above all the rest, it's giant wings spread, making it look much bigger. "Leave me alone!" Aztec pleaded. The dragon let out a cold chuckle and asked one of it's soldiers, "Is this the dragonet? Son of Pyramid and Quetzal?" The soldier nodded and said, "Yes my queen, he is a tough one, perfect for the arena."

The dragon came closer, and Aztec could see it closely, the dragon was a female skywing. She grabbed him by his chin and examined him, "He has potential..." Aztec let out a small growl and squirmed a bit. "Thrilling..." She let go of him and turned away, "Chain him and take him back to the kingdom!" Aztec let out a cry as the skywing soldiers grabbed him and pinned him down. The chains were very heavy for his small body.

Aztec refused to walk, making the skywings angry. "Just walk already!" One of them snapped as it scratched Aztec's back. Aztec roared and everything turned dark..

Aztec woke up, his scales were wet with tears. Aztec shuddered and said, "I'm not there anymore...I am not the-" Jungle and Jaguar barged into his den before he could finish his sentence. "Can you take us to the scorpion den!?" Both of them said in unison. Jungle noticed his humid scales under his eyes and asked, "What's wrong Azzy?" Aztec smiled and whispered, "Nothing." Jungle shook his head and said, "Since, obviously, I'm the smartest one in this room, it's obvious that you are not fine, clearly something is bothering you. Now spit it out."

Aztec stood up and smacked Jaguar playfully, "Who is the wisest one?" Jaguar smirked and said, "Dad." Aztec nodded and said, "Good point." Jungle yelled, "Aw they have said four sentences without fighting! I feel like a proud mother!" (OoF I can't get enough of Jungle's cuteness)

Aztec immediately changed the subject, "Okay! I will take you to the scorpion den, but on one condition, you must buy me something to eat, I'm starving." Jungle giggled and Jaguar rolled his blue eyes, but they both agreed. "I will be ready in five minutes, go outside and wait for me." Aztec said, the twins nodded and walked out. Aztec grabbed his satchel, and felt cold talons on his shoulder, he turned and saw his father.

Quetzal, a big green and blue rainwing, with several scars on his body like Aztec. He was cold and serious all the time but still is a good father. "Are you taking your siblings to the scorpion den?" Quetzal asked, Aztec nodded. "Just be careful.." Without saying another word, Quetzal tucked his wings to his side to go through the slim entrance.

Aztec shivered after he left and waited for a few moments so Quetzal could leave the den. After a while, he walked out and his siblings were sitting in the sand, waiting for Aztec. "Why did you take so long! You said five minutes, not an hour!" Jungle groaned.
"It takes more than five minutes to look this great." Jaguar grunted, "Whatever you say, let's go." The three of them took flight.

"You are immature, Aztec. Once I reappear, I will show you how to be a real dragon."

(Ohoho, who is this voice and why is it haunting Aztec? You will find out soon.)
