A few days later after Aztec met Oak, he turned more cautious and paranoid. Aztec checked his surroundings every time he went out.

It was a sunny afternoon, Aztec was outside laying down in the warm sand. He huffed and looked towards the sun. "What's up?" A familiar voice said. "The sky." Aztec replied. "Haha, very funny." Jaguar said sarcastically. "Seriously though, what is wrong with you." Aztec turned and looked at his annoying brother.

"Can't I lay in the sun?" Aztec asked. "Something is bothering you, I'm not stupid." Jaguar replied, he sat down next to Aztec. Aztec mumbled, "Shut up." Jaguar rolled his eyes and said, "Let's do this, how about you and I, go somewhere." Aztec grumbled, "Where will we go? Idiot." Jaguar chuckled, "Wanna go prank someone? I know the perfect place." Aztec narrowed his eyes, after a few moments of thinking, he smirked and said, "Ok."

They flew to the Rainforest. Jaguar looked around for a few moments and then pointed, "There." He whispered. Aztec looked and widen his eyes, "You are gonna get us killed!" Jaguar shrugged, "I have always wanted to prank dad." Aztec groaned and replied, "Fine, but is he punishes us, it's your fault ok?" Jaguar nodded and climbed up a tree.
Aztec watched him as Jaguar walked on the branch.

"Pathetic, all of you. We can rule the world! But here you are, pranking your father."

"We are having fun, there is no harm in that. Shut up." Aztec whispered harshly.

Jaguar grabbed a vine and made a trap, he giggled and climbed back down. Aztec grabbed some rotten fruits and threw them at their father. Quetzal turned and growled, "Who is there?" He walked up to a bush. He accidentally stepped on the trap...pulling him up and leaving him hanging upside down. Jaguar couldn't hold his laughter anymore, he bursted out laughing. Aztec smacked him on the head. Quetzal closed his eyes, "Jaguar. Aztec. I didn't raise you like this. I'm disappointed. Come out now and help me down." He said coldly. Jaguar and Aztec frowned, then they came out of the bush where they were hidden. "I'm sorry father, it was Jaguar's ide-" Aztec was interrupted by his father, "I don't care who's idea is it. You were both in this. Now you both face the consequences." Aztec shut his mouth and helped him.

A few hours later...

Aztec sighed and dropped onto the ground. He looked around his den and grumbled. He was exhausted, from all that walking and flying. His father had different punishments depending on the situation, for example, if someone breaks one rule, it's walking two miles, if it's two rules, four miles, going on....Aztec took one more glance and then fell asleep.

"Go to the Icewing kingdom...there you will find my body. Resurrect me. I will teach you..."

Aztec shook his head and mumbled, "No."

"I'm losing my patience, stubborn lizard. You will learn how to obey my orders."

The next morning

Aztec woke up and yawned. He stretched and stood up. Aztec then walked out of the den and looked up, the sun was already up and high. Aztec felt the warm sand under his talons. He sat down and thought of what Solitude told him, was it worth it?

Aztec flicked his tail, he watched the other Sandwings doing their duties. He then felt someone grab his tail. He turned and saw Jaguar, Jaguar looked at him and said, "You nearly hit me your tail, I don't want to die today." Aztec rolled his eyes and looked back. Jaguar sat next to him and asked, "Are you angry wit-" "I'm pissed." Aztec said sharply and smacked him on the head. "That's why Jungle is the better twin." Aztec remarked. Jungle shouted from the den, "I heard that! Aha! In you face Jaguar." Jaguar rolled his eyes, "But you wanted too. So it isn't completely my fault."

Aztec looked forward, he kept silence. Jaguar tilted his head. After a few moments, Aztec replied, "I don't care..."

(I'm running out of ideas, I'm currently drawing the characters. Now that I'm on summer vacations, I will have more time to write)
