The moon shown from outside and the light shined into the room, giving it an unsettling dim glow. Mike was sound asleep when he heard the sound of someone getting into bed with him. "Chester?" He drowsily asked while turning over. He got greeted with a kiss on the cheek. A small smile appeared on his face and he fluttered his eyes opened to see Chester... with black wings and a dark gray glow around him? He blinked and rubbed his eyes, then opened them again.

Chester was staring at Mike worried, the white wings and soft golden glow that was usually around him whenever he was in full angel form was present again. "Mike? You okay?" Chester asked while lying down next to him. He pulled him into him and rubbed his back. "Did you have a bad dream? I didn't feel any bad feelings coming from you a second ago. What's wrong?"

Mike blinked a few times, not sure what to say. He had seen Chester that way once before. The day he came back home. They were going into a hug and for a slip second, Chester went from looking like an angel, to a demon, then an angel again. It's probably just nothing. I'm tired and just woke up. It's a trick my mind's playing on me. "It's nothing, Chester. I'm fine. I'm glad you're back." Mike replied, wrapping his arms around his angel.

Chester snapped his fingers and his angel form went away. He was fully naked again, with no wings or a glow surrounding him. He still had smooth porcelain looking skin that was soft to the touch though. Chester always had soft skin, but the porcelain look didn't show up until after he came back.

Mike looked all over the silky, clear skin. Clear... Mike had just noticed that all of Chester's tattoos were gone, except for the flames on his arms. What happened to the others? Does Heaven have a no more than one set of tattoos rule or something?

"Where did they go?" Mike asked, not giving any clues to what he was talking about.

"What?" Chester mumbled in response, already half asleep from being exhausted. That whole recharge thing was really exhausting. His whole body was sore and it didn't help that he had already been in pain from having sex before it.

"The tattoos? Your flames are the only ones still there."

"Oh." Chester sighed. "All my other one's went away because they weren't visible when I arrived at Heaven. My flames were showing, so they got to stay."

"That makes sense, I guess... I'm glad I told the guys to push the sleeves up on the shirt now. Your flames are one of the first things I noticed about you when we met."

"Yeah, I'm glad you did too. I don't think I would look right without these things. I've had them for so long and they're usually seeable. It would be weird to not see them."

Mike didn't say anything afterwards. His mind was still trying to fight between the real world and the dream world. "Go to sleep, baby." Chester whispered to him. "I'll be here when you wake up, I promise. I love you." Chester gave him a quick kiss, then started going to sleep.

Mike didn't hesitate to close his eyes and snuggled close to his angel. His angel... That's what Chester was now. He wasn't a human, a ghost, a demon... Angel. Chester's an angel, but the flashes of Chester covered in black clothing with the black, tangled feathered wings and dark gray glow surrounding him consumed Mike's mind. "Michael... Come here to me." Chester growled quietly. Angel. Mike thought, erasing the imagine from his mind. He's an angel... That's what he is. Your husband's an angel.

Mike opened his eyes, getting frustrated with himself. He looked at his husband and saw that he was fast asleep. He carefully wrapped his arm around the angel and lightly put his hand on his back, carefully rubbing circles on it. If he did this right, Chester's wings would appear, but he wouldn't go full angel. It was almost kind of like button. A sensitive one that only worked if done in a lightly, careful way. Chester showed him how to do it once, just in case he ever wanted to. He's never done this to Chester before, but he was curious, he needed to see if they were still white. If he didn't, this'll probably drive him nuts.
