"Remember the plan?"

Mike laughed, "I remember when I was the one asking that."

Chester narrowed his eyes at him with a frown. "Seriously, you remember the plan, right? This is important."

Mike sighed and sat on the ground beside the small room outside of Heaven's gate. He was exhausted from the running they had to do. Chester forgot his key at home so they had to take the long, hard way to Heaven, which was running around in place for about an hour.

"Why is Heaven so weird?" Mike had asked Chester while they were running earlier in their long circle.

"It was Tre's idea. Blame him."

"Why the fuck the God accept this?!"

"Just run!"

They were here now. That's all that mattered.

"Yes, I remember the plan." Mike finally said.

The plan. It was simple, but could be fucked up easily. Mike had to stay here behind the room. Chester would be going to get his defyers, which was hiding somewhere around the gate. He was gonna be disguised as a Demon, since they were storming everywhere and it wouldn't be safe to run around as an Angel at the moment. After Chester got his Defyers, he would come back here, Mike would say the phrase that set off the snake venom's poison, then Chester would go and kill off all the Demons that were currently in Heaven, spearing the Angel's lives.

Two things could go wrong. One, Chester's disguise could get messed up and he'll be caught before he gets the Defyers which means he'll get killed and then Mike would be stuck in Heaven forever. Two, Chester could accidentally destroy all the Angels along with the Demons and Heaven itself. No pressure, right?

"Before I go, I want one thing." Chester told Mike, holding him close.

"What?" Mike asked while smiling, already knowing what it was, but wanted to hear Chester say it.

"I want a kiss goodbye. We don't know what will happen out there."

Mike smiled and leaned into his Angel, giving him a slow lingering kiss. They wanted this to last forever. They wanted to stop time and just stay there frozen in place connected to each other; to feel the warmth of each other's lips and their bodies pressed together.

Sadly, they had to pull away. If they didn't start the plan now, Heaven would turn into shambles. Well, more shambles than it already was. The Demons have destroyed all the buildings and were almost to the God's palace type thing. Chester had to be quick.

"Stay here, okay? You'll be safe. I promise." The Angel told his husband, stealing one quick kiss from him before running off.

Mike sat there now waiting. He had no idea if this will all work but he hoped it did. Then he could go back home.

Or will I go home? Mike questioned himself. He remembered earlier when they were back on Earth and him and Chester were talking in the car at the cemetery. He was gonna die soon. What if it was close? What if something did go wrong and he would die today?

He didn't want to die. Not now and with the knowledge that he'd be going to Hell and never see his friends or Chester again. At least while he was alive, he was allowed to see all of them when he wanted. Heaven was forgiving to humans. They weren't the same with Demons though.

I deserve it though. Mike told himself. I fucked Up everyone's life and this war going on is probably because of me too. They are after me, right?
