The Next Avenger~Percy Jackson/Avenger crossover

Chapter 4

     After getting my Foot checked out on a plane and bandage up again they gave me crutches, which I never really needed before, but as long as I'm here I have to act and be human.

     Director fury and I walked off a plane when we were done getting looked over by people who looks to be medics. We borded the helicarrier as he calls it. On the way here he explained What S.H.I.E.L.D. really was.

"It's, quit big." I said looking around.

"wait till you see the inside." He said.

    I followed Director fury to what looks like the control center of the ship. Everyone starred at me, but immediately got back to work.

     Director fury had his hand out with something Black and small.

"what's that?" I asked.

"It's an ear piece you wanted one didn't you?"

"Oh, yeah." I said grabbing it and placing it in my ear.

"This is cool, I can here people's conversations now." I said.

"Director fury, who may I ask is this?" Someone said walking up to us.

"Agent jackson, meet Agent coulson." Director fury said.

"Agent Jackson, nice ring to it." I said shaking agent coulsons hand.

"I've never seen you before Agent jackson mind me asking why?" Agent coulson asked.

"she's a temporary S.H.I.L.D. agent phil, so show her around, she's your new partner." Director fury said walking away leaving us shocked.

"I never asked for a partner." Agent coulson and I said at the same time.

"How did you manage to temporarily become a S.H.I.E.L.D agent?" he asks.

"I helped Director fury out of the underground base that imploded, so in order for him to repay me of is debt I asked to help with getting the tesseract back." I said.

"your The one who help fury, thats amazing everyone's been talking about you." He says.

"How does everyone now already? It's only been a few hours." I said.

"News travels fast at S.H.I.E.L.D, And you just saved the person who runs this place, you got a lot of guts kid." He said.

"I'm not a kid...I'm fifteen." I said.

"Fifteen?, fury wants me to work with a fifteen year old...your the youngest agent we've ever had." He said.

"cool." I said with a smile.

"your enjoying this aren't you." he said.

"yes, why wouldn't I? I get to help people and use my training while doing it." I said.

"Training? You have training?" He asks shocked.

"yeah, what else is a fifteen your old suppose to do?" I asked.

"I don't know, go to school, learn." He says.

"I can't go to school." I said

"why not?" he asks

"I've been there, done that. My twin brother and I kept getting expelled for many reasons, schools not for me. I can't read either, I have dyslexia...and ADHD so I might get a little hyper at times." I said.

"How does he manage to Get expelled?" he asked.

"Don't...ask?." I said.

"Alright, so what do you do for training? You ever use a gun before" He askes.

"why would you even ask a Fifteen year old that? No I haven't used a gun before and I wouldn't want to they're not my cup of tea, but if you give me a bow and arrow or even a sword I'll be fine." I said.

"Bow and arrow you say, you any good?" He asks.

"The best." I said.

"what's your distance?" He asks.

"200 meters maybe more." I said.

"That's the same distance Hawkeye can shoot." He said surprise.

"who's hawkeye?" I asked.

"The one that shot fury." Coulson said.

"Him! No way, why would he do that he's part of S.H.I.E.L.D?" I asked.

"He's been compromised." Coulson said taking out a phone and dialed a number.

     A few seconds later someone answered, but had an accent when he spoke.

"You're at 114 Solenski Plaza, 3rd floor. We have an F22 exactly 8 miles out. Put the woman on the phone or I will blow up the block before you can make the lobby." Coulson said demanding to talk to a girl.

'how did she now she was there?' I thought to myself.

"We need you to come in." Coulson said.

"Are you kidding? I'm working!" I hear a women yell.

  "This takes precedence." coulson said.

"I'm in the middle of an interrogation and this moron is giving me everything." The women said. I don't know were that women is, but I wouldnt take 'everything' from anybody.

"you can't pull me out of this right now." The woman says.

  "Natasha. Barton's been compromised." Coulson said.

"Let me put you on hold." The women I now know to be Natasha said.

     I then hear fighting in the backround and Coulson just stands there waiting like he new this would happen.

"Where's Barton now?" Natasha asks. Wow that was fast I wonder how many guys she took down.

  "We don't know." Coulson said.

  "But he's alive." She asks.

"We think so. I'll brief you on everything when you get back. But first, we need you to talk to the big guy." Coulson said.

'big guy?' I questioned.

"Coulson, you know that Stark trusts me about as far as he can throw me." Natasha says.

"No, me and Agent jackson, got Stark. You get the big guy." Coulson said.

"Who's agent Jackson?" Natasha asks.

"someone I have to babysit." He said.

"It's not babysitting, If I can take care of my self." I said.

said.

"Bozhe moi."Natasha says in Russian then they hang up.

"was that russian?" I asked.

"Yeah." Coulson says.

"I'm good with languages, just if your wondering." I said.

"I wasn't,  now let's go recruit Mr. Stark." He says walking away and I follow him.

"who's Mr. Stark?" I asked, the name sounds familiar though.

"you don't now Tony stark?" He asks turning around.

"No, and you may not now this, but  I came through a portal The tesseract created." I asked.

"From Where?" coulson asks.

"Washington, I think." I said.

"So your not from a different planet?" he asked.

"No, I'm from here, earth. Why are we even having this conversation?" I questioned.

"I need to now who I'm working with." He said.

"Yeah and I still need to now who tony stark is." I said.

"why don't you let him tell you himself, cause your about to meet him." Coulson says.
