The rest of the show went just as smoothly and the cast had been told that there was someone who would be coming backstage to meet them.

The cast had gathered around outside of the dressing rooms, waiting. I was towards the center of the group waiting with Ethan, Wes, Danny, and Gavin. I could hear him before I saw him and judging by the way Ethan's face had hardened, I knew that he had heard him as well. Without even realizing what I was doing, I quickly took a step back to stand behind Ethan and Wesley. Ethan grabbed my hand as Wes glanced back at me. I met his eyes, his face mirroring Ethan's as he realized that Alex was the one coming back. Danny and Gavin seemed to notice our discomfort, glancing back at us, a mix of curious and concern etched on their faces.

We all looked back towards the hallway as we saw figures rounding the corner. I gasped slightly as Alex came around the corner completely, my feelings fighting each other. He was just as handsome as before, but I was worried that he would do something in front of my entire cast, or worse, what Ethan would do if he did. He found us in the group almost immediately, completely ignoring Ethan and focused on me, making sure Ethan saw the sly smirk on his face as he made eye contact with me. His smirk grew bigger before he turned back to the cast members in front of him. He talked with almost the entire company, taking selfies with them and posing for pictures for the shows social media, making eye contact with me every time his head was up, letting me know that he wasn't going to forget about me.

The rest of the cast, save for the four with me, seemed not to notice anything wrong but the closer he got, the more my anxiety grew.

Eventually Alex had made his way through the entire group, leaving just us six. The rest of the company had all gone back to their dressing rooms, their absence increasing my worry that Alex would somehow start another fight with Ethan.

There was still a few feet left between us, Alex closing the distance quickly, never taking his eyes off me. "Y/n, what a surprise! You were amazing out there!" He said with a smile, his tone surprisingly friendly.

Ethan and Wes immediately stood a little in front of me, their faces already somewhat angry looking. Danny and Gavin stayed where they were, looking a little confused at the others hostile attitude towards Alex.

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from us? What are you doing here?" Ethan snarled, his time surprising everyone except for Alex apparently.

He casually glanced over in Ethan's direction, meeting his eyes. "I had no idea you were here. It was just a happy accident. Honest." He replied, raising a hand as a sign of truthfulness. "Take it as a sign." He said darkly, a challenge in his eyes as he looked at Ethan.

Ethan's jaw clenched visibly and his hands turned into fists at his sides. Though he still had his costume on, he looked downright scary.

I took a half step towards Ethan, feeling his muscles bulging as my hand rested on his arm. "What is he talking about?" I asked him, starting to seriously worry that there would be a fight.

Alex smirked as he looked down at me. "You mean he hasn't told you? It doesn't sound like he's been a very good boyfriend, keeping things from you." He said, prompting me to turn my head to look at him.

My brows furrowed in anger as I looked at him, "You don't know what you're talking about, asshole." I snapped, taking Ethan's hand and turning around, heading towards our dressing rooms, the rest of our group following behind.

Alex watched us go, a small smirk forming on his lips before walking out of the theater.

We had all gone towards our separate dressing rooms, Wesley walking with Ethan as his was right next door. It was obvious that Ethan was still angry, his fists had unclenched but his face was still the same.

"Ethan...I need to tell you something..." Wes said slowly, unsure of how he would react.

Ethan just barely glanced over at Wesley. "Can't it wait until later?" He asked, annoyed that Wesley would choose now to decide he needed to talk.

Wes shook his head quickly. "It's about Y/n." He said quietly. That had given him Ethan's full attention. Instead of anger, his face was now fully of worry.

"Did something happen to her? Is she okay?" He asked, almost speaking faster than he could get the words out.

Wesley took him into his dressing room, sitting down across from him. The longer Wes took to start, the more worried Ethan became. "This guy..Alex.." he began, Ethan cutting him off.

"Did he do something to her?" He asked quickly, half way out of his chair already to find Alex again.

Wesley shook his head quickly so Ethan would sit back down again. "No, no! Not like that." He answered as Ethan sat back down, looking upset.

"So he did do something?" He said slowly.

Wesley sighed and glanced down quickly before looking back up at Ethan. "Y/n..she had a panic attack today, during the show." He explained quietly.

"Because of him?" Ethan asked, a mix of emotions displayed on his face.

Wes nodded slowly, "I think so, but it isn't my place to say. I just thought you should know." He answered quietly before getting up and going into his own dressing room.
