The tests had both come back negative. I released the breath that I'd been holding, feeling like a weight had been lifted. Wes hugged me, holding me tightly to him. I felt like I could cry with relief as he hugged me, keeping me there for a moment before we pulled away.

Wes shot me one of his iconic smiles. "C'mon, lets get out of here."

I smiled back, taking his outstretched hand in mine as we walked to the stage door.

The next two days passed quickly. We had gotten three shows out of the week taken care off and I was slightly happier but I still wasn't feeling quite right. I stayed quiet not wanting to worry anyone with my symptoms that I had a strange feeling I was just imagining. Today however, I was feeling even worse than usual. All I wanted to do was stay in bed but my stubborn nature refused to let me.

I dragged myself to the theater, staying pretty quiet, nobody really questioned it; it had become the new normal for me. I felt a bit better as the show started and just brushed it off as being tired. I stood in between Danny and Wes as we waited for our cues.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Danny whispered to me worriedly.

I glanced over at him, confused. "Yeah, why?"

Wes was looking over at me on my other side. "You look like you're about to drop.." He added, putting an arm around me as if he thought I'd fall any second.

I looked between the two boys, shrugging my shoulders with a small smile to humor them. "I'm fine."

It turned out that the boys were right to be worried about me. I had been fine the rest of the first act while under their watchful eye, especially while on stage. The trouble came at the beginning of intermission.

I was walking behind Ethan as we hurried off the stage before the lights came back on. Before I knew what was happening, I was falling.

Ethan was walking in front of me, mostly ignoring me still. He stopped walking suddenly when he heard a loud thump behind him, like something hitting the floor. He quickly turned around, his eyes widening and breath knocked out of him when he saw me on the floor, unconscious. He immediately ran over to me, kneeling on the floor beside me. "Y/n?" His voice was rushed and panicked as he brushed my hair back from my face. He could feel tears pricking his eyes when I didn't respond.

He quickly picked me up, holding me bridal style with my head resting on his shoulder. "Someone help please! We need a doctor!" Ethan's voice was breaking as he began heading towards the room with the largest open space.

His yelling had attracted the attention of a few cast members who quickly ran to get the stage manager. Danny and Wesley both came out of their dressing rooms as he was passing, their faces losing its color when they realized that I was in his arms. They immediately began following Ethan, their faces mirroring Ethan's scared and worried expression.

The pair walked ahead of Ethan into the green room, moving one of the beds stored there into the middle of the room. The beds were kept for the cast to take naps on in between shows and were luckily easy to move. Ethan gently laid me down on the bed just as the on call doctor came in with the stage manager who had already put the show on hold. The boys moved away from the bed to give the doctor room, the manager standing with them. Ethan, however, refused to be parted from me, only relenting enough to move to the other side of the bed, holding my cold hand tightly.

The silent room was thick with tension as the doctor began his examination, taking my vitals. After a few minutes, he looked up at Ethan. "What's your relationship to this girl?"

Ethan looked like he was about to cry any second, any thought of the show forgotten completely. "She's my girlfriend."

The doctor nodded to himself, before speaking again. "Has she been under a lot of stress lately?"
