Today I'm meeting Regina's mum. Yay. Not. I'm so nervous. Regina had made me dress in a pair of pantsuit bottoms and a blouse. She's in one of her work dresses. "Why am I dressed like this again" I asked looking down at the clothes I'm wearing. Regina sighed and said "because my mum is a very upper class woman. She has to approve of you. Now remember don't mention anything about killing or even joke about it. She knows I am dating the woman I was undercover for so I can't have her thinking your a murderer"

I smirked and said "you ashamed of my job" she rolled her eyes and started tucking my blouse in. "I will be on my best behaviour" I say as I put my hands over hers. She looked up and I kissed her. When we pulled away after a few minutes she said "that we can't do in front of her. She's a Christian and does like that I'm marring a girl but said she'll accept it if she likes you" I move my hands onto her hips and rested my head against hers. "We'll be fine... and if I can't kiss you like that later I'll just have to now" I say making her smirk.

I leaned in and started kissing her. After a few minutes of making out the front door knocked. Regina pulled away and ran out of the room within a blink of an eye. I never seen her move so fast. She ran down the stairs. I laughed and followed out of the room. As I'm walking down the stairs I see her at the door straightening her clothes. She then opened the door and said "mother" I got downstairs and saw an older woman. She was quiet tall and had very rich and expensive clothes on. I smiled and said "hi I'm Emma"

She looked at my hand and then back at Regina not saying a word. "Ow mum doesn't shake people's hands" Regina says quickly. I moved my hand away and said "sorry mrs mills" "please... call me Cora" she says cutting me of. I smiled and Regina invited her in. Cora walked in and made her way to the lounge. Regina slapped my ass getting my attention. "Ouch" I say quietly. "Remember what I said" she says quickly before going in. I went close behind her and whispered "don't turn me on if you want me to behave"

She elbowed me in the arm and I giggled. "Take a seat mother" she says as she sat down. She looked at me and said "that's a warning" I giggled again and she sat next to her mother. I walked to the kitchen door while saying "does anyone want tea or coffee" Cora looked round at me and said "coffee please. Regina darling would you be a darling and make it? Not that I don't trust your... fiancé but you know how I like it" when she said fiancé she glared at me. Regina stood up and said "of course mother. Emma would you stay here"

I stood up and Emma walked past me. She whispered "if your anything like her when your that age I ain't getting married" I giggled and carried on walking to the kitchen. I knew she was joking but right now is not the time for jokes. If she doesn't approve of Emma I know she will do everything in her power to stop us from being together. I saw her do it to my brother who is in prison now. I made me and mum coffee. I know Emma doesn't want one. I know she wants a beer but I can't let my mum see that.

I grabbed her a bottle of water which I know she won't like but she will have to live with it for a few hours. I had the bottle between my arm and my body. I had the coffees in each hand. I went into the lounge and saw Emma talking to her. Mum didn't look impressed. I put the coffee in front of her and sat down. I hand Emma the water and give her look. She winked and drunk a mouthful of the water. I had a sip of my coffee before putting it down. "Thank you Regina darling. Now tell me. How did you propose to Regina" she asked Emma.

"The whole room was lit with candles and I made her favourite meal. When's she got home I proposed" Emma says making me smile just thinking about it. She smiled back at me. I look at mum and she said "most people wait till after the dinner but whatever you feel is best" I rolled my eyes and look at her. "So mum me and Emma are trying IVF and I'm hoping to get pregnant" I say smiling. She looked at me with wide eyes and said "that is a bit of a stupid thing to do. IVF. Are you mad Regina? They take lots of eggs from you and only save two"

I sighed knowing she wasn't going to like this. My mum is a very strict Christian so I had it coming. She continued "the rest are killed. Those poor babies" I looked at Emma and she looked shocked. I shook my head slightly at her and she put on a fake smile. I look back at mum and said "mother it will be fine. We want a baby" she sighed and drunk her coffee. "Well I can understand why you want to do this. Your already going to hell for being gay" she says as she sipped it again.

I didn't take anything she said personally since I know it's what she believes in. "I'm going to go make lunch" I say standing up. Emma looked up at me annoyed and I winked. She mouthed to me "screw you" I licked my lips and blew a kiss at her. I quickly left the room and saw Emma sat there awkwardly with mum. I then realised Emma might say something stupid. I went back in and said "actually Emma would you be a dear and make them please" she stood up and whispered "be a dear? Really Regina" I elbowed her and sat back down.
