Chapter 3: First day -Part 1

"I will explain the best I can to you what happened. Just don't worry about it."

And with that, I lean over a place a kiss on he cheek , grab my smoothie and book bag, and get out the car to see the car door slam behind be. An with that she leaves...

As I start walking into the school, I hear screaming. Like it is really loud. I turned around and it seemed to be group of people chasing me. I turn around and run into the school and find the closest classroom that has its door open and slam the door behind me.

Trying to catch my breath someone that was in the classroom already walks up to me. He just pulled me into a hug. A tight hug in fact. In return, I hugged him back. He smelled soooo good. I could just die.

We stood there for about 30seconds and then he pulled away saying, "My name is Aaron. Remember me?" He had really pretty hazel eyes, puffy brunette hair dyed blonde. Probably 6'4"

I remembered Aaron so I nod. He was my next door neighbour during Elementary school and then moved away. "Oh gosh I missed you so much." He said. " I missed you too. Why'd you move away?"

He pulled me into another hug and started whispering to himself. I didn't hear a word he said. "Can you repeat that" I said. He shook his head in a Silence.

"AARON!! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE" this random girl voice from the hallway.

He quickly kissed my forehead and ran out the door. He looked really sad from before. I followed him out of the classroom and he quickly disappeared.

As I walked around the "empty" halls I see my smoothie splattered all over the floor with a caution sigh above it. I really wanted to drink that. That was my breakfast drink. 😔 ( I'm going to insert some emoticons)

I walk into the front office and look for my name in the schools roster. I find my name and it gave me my locker number. Why did Crystal think it was a good Idea to miss the open house. I have no idea where to go. My locker number was 528. They paper said to get your combination and personal supply from the person behind the desk so I ask the kind looking lady. She looked about Crystals age. Probably an alumni.

"Name" she asked glaring at me. " Diamond Goalmerz" I reply back. She gave me my combo and some random stuff in a dark Violet coloured bag. It had a bit of weight to it. I say thank you and walk away into the hallway to find my locker.

When I find my locker, It turns hot that I got one of the biggest ones there is. I turn the nob to the correct combination and it opened. There was water bottles, binders, paper that could last you all year, books for the classes that I don't know about yet, and the list goes on.

As I finish looking through everything I open my bag that the lady gave me at there is a load of stuff. There are T-shirts, my MacBook Pro for class, my schedule, a map, more school supplies, a watch, and a note.

Why would there be a note in my back? I pulled it out to see that it's a letter from my Mentor?

Dear Diamond,

I hear your a smart one. You came out of Home schooling top of your class. You're more of an outlier than all the other students. When you took the test for this school you got an 100 on all of the test including math, ela, reading, writing. That has not happened in any of those years that we have been open. For doing that well on the test you have showed us that you needed to be given the real thing. We will put more pressure on you than most of the other students to continue to do your best. You've been selected to be able to get special access to most of the resources at our school. As you can tell. We have given you a much bigger locker than the most of the other students, it came with all the supplies you need to complete this grade level. Don't worry. Everyone has there own special things that are specifically for them. Everyone has to participate in at least one extra curricular activity throughout the year. You are able to get first choice in what you would like to do. Just review all the things that are posted on you Account binder. This binder has all the guides that you will need this year. If you have anything missing or something you need, come to the student lounge. The student lounge is for the students who excel. You will need a key card. The key card should be hanging in your locker. If you don't see it please go through your bag. If not there come to the front desk immediately! You also have a meeting that starts at 9:30am so you can get your things together and look around the school. We are really glad that you have come to our school and wish you the best of luck!! Ps your gym locker is the same locker number and combo.

Alright so I have a Mentor that nobody mentioned. I have a meeting at 9:30 that's like in 40 minutes. So I have time. They gave me alot of stuff. Well it's time to put my locker together.
