2nd FALLEN
I interviewed him and checked his credentials. Okay na okay nga siya. I know from the very beginning of my question that he'll pass on my standards so I hired him immediately.
I told him about my policies here on the clinic and some do's and don'ts. Pag hindi siya nakatingin sa akin, I couldn't help myself but to stare on his beautiful face.
I was just supposed to ask him about himself when I noticed that his not looking at me but rather at the things inside my clinic.
"May problem ba, Mr. Emmit?"
"Oh, I just noticed that you have lots of fish there."
I'm just wondering dahil sa mga alaga mong isda.
"Since when I bought those fishes, none of them yet died."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Talagang inaalagaan mo sila, Doc."
"I really love them."
"Pero alam mo ba? Even though we give them food to eat, love, and we take care of them that's still not enough for them to live and stay on us."
I was taken aback on what he said. Because I also felt that before, I gave all my love but still that's not enough for that person to stay on my side. Nawala din siya sa akin.
"Paano mo naman nasabi 'yan?"
"You know what, Doctor Wilson, sometimes love is not enough for that person we love to stay forever on our side. Perhaps because that person we love didn't hold on or maybe we let go that person to make him or her to still be happy or be alive. Siyempre ang love nagsasacrifice din."
I can't think of anything now. Since what he was saying is really for me even though he didn't know anything about me.
"And you know what? Our conversation is getting really serious huh. We could loosen up little bit, couldn't we?"
"Pasensya ka na, Dr. Wilson." Sabi niya habang natatawa sa aking nakatingin. Gosh. How could his dimples melt my heart?
"Oh, cut the crap, I don't like this so-called formality calling me Dr. Wilson. Mas maganda kung Summer na lang, okay?"
"Alright, Summer. And drop the Mr. Emmit.
I laughed on him by imitating my line pati ang tono ko. And again, I'm amazed on his facade.
