Taehyung's POV

I wandered aimlessly through the airport, trying to catch a glimpse of my older brother. I kept having to stop, the constant moving and walking sent my heart into overdrive to the point where it was painful. Taking a few deep breathes I stop for what seems like the 100th time today, eyes glancing round to the swarms of people left, right and centre.

Suddenly I spot a man. An oddly familiar man and I know instantly it's my big brother. Kim Namjoon himself. Despite the dark hoodie with the hood pulled up and the yellow Ryan mask and the SnapBack under his hood, I could tell it was him a mile off. Brothers intuition.
I begin the haul of pushing myself the last 20 meters or so to reach him. I keep staring at him, waiting for his deep brown eyes to catch mine as he surveys the busy airport looking for me. I couldn't call his name, no way there might be fans here and then we'd be in a right ol' pickle.
Just as his head swings around in my direction our gazes meet, his mask crinkling slightly as he smiles underneath, hiding his dimples. He runs to me and I stop, breathing heavily. He catches me in his arms, hugging me close and I do the same, the warm brotherly love swarming my body as I hug the one man who I know would do anything and everything to make sure I'm happy and safe.

"Hey Tae-Tae how you feeling?" He asks softly, face buried in my wildly grown hair.
"Tired and in pain, the usual but definitely better after seeing you Joonie. I missed you" I reply back, my heart beating irregularly against my rib cage as I circle my arms around him. He pulls away, looking me deep in the eyes, his own swarming with sympathy and love. Namjoon grabs my duffel bag and turns around crouching in front of me.
"Hop on little bro, we'll give your heart rest shall we"
I was about to refuse when my heart started acting up again, flaring my chest with pain.
"Ok Hyung" I whisper and climb onto his back, circling my arms around his shoulders and my legs about his waist.
"Why are you so light?! Have you been eating properly?" He questions as he begins walking out of the busy airport.
Here comes that overprotective brother side.
"Hyung I'm fine, it's just the meds" I giggle back, hitting his shoulder lightly. My heart starts to slow down, the pain ebbing away slightly as my brother carries me to a black van with tinted windows.

Depositing me by the passenger side he unlocks the car, helping me into my seat as he goes to the drivers side. The van rumbled to life and we drove out of the airport, music from the radio playing softly in the background. We make pleasant small talk, nothing too tedious as a comfortable silence punctuates each question. He asks about home and our parents and updates on my condition and in return I ask him about his daily life.

"You know why I wanted to come, don't you Namjoon"

He sighs, as if he has been avoiding this question since we reunited at the airport less than an hour ago. He makes a left turn and starts talking.

"Yeah I do. But, despite how stupid it sounds I can't get my head round it. It's already August and you're 20 in December. It's not fair Taehyungie..."

I stay silent, detecting the emotion dripping from his tone. Despite it not being in my control, I still feel guilty. Suddenly the car halts to a stop and I find ourselves below a huge white and blue complex of expensive looking apartments.
"Come on little bro. Let's get your bags and we'll take the lift. Think you can manage the walk to the lift ok?" He asks, opening the door and stepping out in to the warm late summer air. I nod, copying him and getting out of the car.

As we rode up the elevator I watched fascinated as the buttons glowed a neon blue colour at every floor we passed. Before long the elevator dinged and the metal doors slid open, a female electronic voice telling us we were at the 15th floor. Stepping out I admire the pale blue hallway that led to a singular black wooden door. Namjoon slid a key into the lock and opened the door, spreading his arms wide.

"Welcome home little bro!!"
