*Justin's P.O.V.*
"Hey, Ari." I said, happily. I had just gotten off the phone with my baby, Selena.
"Hey." She murmured quietly.
"What's wrong?" I asked, sympathetically.
"You know what's wrong." She rolled her eyes as she replied back.
It's true. I did know what's wrong. But I thought we had moved from that. I thought we had discussed that and gotten over it.
*FLASHBACK*
"Hey, Ari?" I said, feeling nervous.
"Yeah?" She questioned me.
"I know Selena and I have been dating for a while now, and I love her so much, but I wanna know your honest opinion on our relationship. So, what's your opinion?" I said, quickly.
"After 2- almost 3- years, you want my damn opinion on your dumbass relationship?!" She spat. Wow, I really didn't expect that.
"Y-Yeah." I stuttered.
"She's a bitch, Justin. And you're too blind by her 'charm' to see it. She uses you for fame and publicity. She cheats on you all the time. She's just a straight-up bi-" I cut her off.
"Stop," I stopped her from repeating that horrible name to describe my amazing girlfriend. "Is that really how you feel?"
"Yeah," She breathed out. "I hate her, Justin. And, as your best friend, I suggest you listen to me, or else, you're gonna get screwed over. Soon, you won't be satisfying enough for her, and she'll move on to the next." I listened to her words, and I thought.
What if that's true?
What if she cheats on me?
What if she screws me over?
What if I don't satisfy her?
What if she does use me?
What if I am too blind to see it?
What if?
All these 'what if' questions were going through my mind, and they sure as hell weren't escaping. I decided against it, knowing that my sweet Sel would never do such things.
"Well, you know what, Ariana? I love her and I know she's an innocent and amazing girl. So, I'm sorry, but I don't agree with your opinion. We're perfect and there's nothing like us." I said, confidently, even though, on the inside, I was feeling anything but confident with my choice of words.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Well that's just too bad, because I love her and she loves me back." I retorted.
"Okay, whatever." She snorted, waving her hand, dismissively.
"I'm just gonna go hang with Selena." I rolled my eyes and got up, heading for the door.
'hey babe, I'm coming over, k?' I sent the text to Selena, not even bothering to wait for a reply.
*Selena's P.O.V.*
"Baby!" I giggled at the dark-brown-haired, brown-eyed, gorgeous boy, in front of me.
"I love you, Sel." He said, looking me in the eyes.
"I love you too, Anthony." I replied, actually meaning my words.
"So, how are we gonna get rid of Justin?" Tony asked. I sighed.
*Justin's P.O.V.*
"Baby!" I heard Selena's giggle.
"I love you, Sel." A husky voice said.
"I love you too, Anthony." Selena replied, breaking my heart.
"So, how are we gonna get rid of Justin?" This so-called Anthony asked. What the hell?, I thought.
"That's a touchy subject for me. It's hard, y'know? I loved Justin, but that was before I laid eyes on you. I love you so much, Anthony. You're everything to me. But, Justin took my v-virginity. My manager told me that since I have no interest in him anymore, then I should just fake date him and use him for publicity. For example, upcoming tours, albums, singles, merchandise, movies, and so much more. Like a promotion. I'm honestly just in it for the money. I think I have to let him go slowly so he thinks we're just fading from each other." She explained to Anthony. I was officially heartbroken.
I'm just gonna leave. I won't expose her 'secret' just yet. I'll wait 'til she starts acting like we're 'fading'.
I left the house, making sure to close the door quietly.
