*Justin's P.O.V.*
I walked upstairs, checking on Ariana to see if she's ready to go. When I made it to the outside of her door, I overheard a conversation.
"I don't want you anywhere near that punk." I heard Michael's voice.
"Who, Justin?" Ari's soft voice whimpered.
"Yeah, he thinks that just because he's rich, he can do whatever he wants. Well, he can't have you. 'Cause you're my bitch. Understand?" He asked. My blood boiled as he called her that name.
I bust the door open, basically slamming it into the wall. The sight in front of me boiled my blood even more.
There, Michael was, digging his nails into Ari's wrist.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" He gritted his teeth.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I shot back. I grabbed Ari, gently pushing her behind me.
"Listen, asshole, she's not a bitch. You can call all the other whores you've fucked, 'your bitch'. But one thing for sure, Ari is not a bitch. I know you're cheating on her. Why not admit it now, before hurting her even more?" I raged.
"How'd you know about my other bitches?" He chuckled, as if Ari wasn't even here.
And that's when I punched his face.
"Justin!" Ariana screamed. But I had so much hatred for him.
He leaned back holding his head, giving me the chance to punch his stomach. Of course, I took the chance.
"Justin, please." Ari cried.
He leaned over and I kneed him in the face, completely knocking him out.
"Justin, stop!" She sobbed, and that's when I stopped.
There she was on the floor in the corner, sobbing loudly. I walked toward her and reached out my hand for her to take.
She slapped my hand away. "Go away, Justin. I hate you." She spat, hurting my heart.
"What's wrong with you? I just saved you, defended you and proved to you that I was right about him." I whispered.
"Nothing is wrong with me. Something is wrong with you. Just because it didn't work with Selena, doesn't mean that you have to come and ruin other people's relationships." She yelled. Ouch.
"Whatever, are you ready? The buses are here." I rolled my eyes.
I walked over to Michael and slapped him a few times. He finally woke up.
"Get the hell out of here. I better not see your face again. Understood?" He nodded quickly and went downstairs. I followed him, making sure he left.
"Ari, let's go!" I yelled from downstairs. She walked downstairs with one of her suitcases. I decided to go get the other ones. I walked into her room and grabbed the other two suitcases. As I walked to the door, I came across something on her dresser.
A blade was lying there with blood dripping from it. It was obviously fresh blood. I grabbed the small blade and flushed it down the toilet. I locked the windows. I grabbed the suitcases and closed the light and walked out, locking the door. I went to the other rooms, making sure everything was locked.
I went downstairs and put the suitcases by the door. I locked the back door and the garage door. I turned off all the lights and walked out the front door. I locked the front door, grabbed the suitcases and headed toward the buses.
I handed my bus driver, John, the suitcases and he carried them in for me.
I got on and saw Ariana asleep on the couch. I walked into the bathroom and saw a few pills on the sink's counter. Oh no, I thought.
I left the bathroom an went over to Ari. I shook her hard, she wouldn't wake up. I gulped hard. I shook more.
"Justin, save me." She mumbled in her sleep.
"Ariana, please," I pleaded. "Please, wake up. Ari, please. I love you so much." Her eyes were slowly opening and drifting back. Then, repeating the process. I lifted her and made her sit up. Her eyes finally fluttered open, but she began coughing vigorously.
I went and got her a glass of water, then came back. I handed it to her and patted her back a few times 'til she stopped. She drank the water and laid her head on my shoulder.
"Don't ever scare me like that again." I sighed.
"I'm sorry for everything, Justin." She apologized.
"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. But, he had no right to tell you who you can and can't stay near. And he had no right to be hurting you like that. You're so innocent. And believe me, I would know," I chuckled. "But my question is, why? Why'd you cut? Why'd you take those pills?" I asked.
"You're right. I overreacted. You were just trying to protect me and help. And I'm so appreciative of it. I love you so much, Justin. You're like the best friend I've ever had. I'm so thankful for you." She said, purposely not answering my questions.
"Thank you. But, don't try to dodge my questions, missy." I laughed.
She sighed. "I honestly don't know. I just wanted to end it all. I'm sick of pain. The fact that my real parents gave me up for adoption, hurts. And my brother dying wasn't a good thing either. And I'm always so dumb to believe that some boys are different. But clearly, they're all the same. I just hate pain. It's basically taking over my life." She cried, making a tear slip from my eye.
"Don't cry, Justin." She sniffled, making me cry more.
"I'm sorry. I just wanna be there for you at all times. I-I love you." I stuttered.
"I love you too, Jay." I kissed her cheek as a tear rolled down, making me taste her salty tears.
