*Justin's P.O.V.*

My phone buzzed, indicating a text had just arrived to my phone.

'Hey baby :)' Selena sent.

'Hey' I replied.

'Can I come over?' She asked.

'Sure, whatever' I sent.

'Okay, I love you. <3' She said. I scoffed, not believing her crap.

Not even ten minutes later, the doorbell rang. I sighed, getting up.

"Hey, we need to talk." She said.

"Yeah, we sure do." I retorted.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"No, you can talk right here." I replied.

She shifted awkwardly, before speaking up.

"I think we need to break up," She began. "We're drifting apart. We're not the same as we were before." She continued.

"Bullshit," I muttered. "Y'know, your cheating ass should think again before using me. You cheated on me. You lied to me. You used me. You broke my heart to pieces. I was a plan to you all along. You're such a bitch. I hate you. You can go to Anthony. I hope you live happily ever after, you bitch!" I slammed the door after yelling.

I was breathing heavily, as I felt a hand touch my shoulder.

"What do you want, Ari?" I asked, lowly.

"I'm just here to comfort you." She said.

"Thanks, but no thanks." I walked away, going upstairs. Heading straight for my room, I kept thinking.

What was missing?

What didn't I give her?

Was I not good enough?

I sighed, closing the door behind me and jumped on my bed.

A few minutes later, I heard a knock on my door. Knowing it was Ari, I got up and let her in.

*Ariana's P.O.V.*

The second I walked in his room, I pulled him into a tight hug. I knew he needed it. And to be honest, so did I. I love his warm bear hugs and his amazing scent.

"I'm sorry, I was kind of harsh on you the other day." I apologized.

"Don't worry about it. I deserved it anyways. I'm such a dumbass to believe that an on-off relationship would actually work out." He sighed, frustratingly, running a hand through his hair.

"Everything's gonna be alright, Jay." I said, comfortingly.

I truly felt bad for him. He went through so much for her. The hate, losing fans, losing money, and getting bad publicity. And she did exactly what I predicted.

"I'm going to bed." He yawned. I took that as my cue to leave.

While heading for the door, he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him.

"Can you sleep here tonight?" He asked, with a sad smile.

"Yeah." I whispered. I haven't slept next to Justin since we were 13. So it was basically a dream come true when he asked.

I crawled in next to him, but made sure to sleep on the other side of the bed.

He pulled my body closer to his and we were suddenly cuddling.

"I love you." I murmured.

"I love you too, Ari." He replied. He placed a chaste kiss on my forehead. The butterflies in my stomach were too much to handle.

Don't get me wrong, I had a small crush on him. He's hot and I can't deny that. But he's like my big brother.

And with that, I was asleep, happily, in his strong, muscular arms.
