A/N: Hello, lovely Alyssals. I just thought I'd mention that I love you all and apologize for not updating and leaving you with yet another cliffhanger...I actually have a legitimate excuse this time. I've been super busy with finals and the end of my freshman year in high school. Also, I'm on summer vacation right now which should mean more spare time to write but actually means putting everything off to be a lazy bum.

So this chapter is dedicated to the lovely Steph bc she's fab and made me feel guilty enough to finish this chapter.

Lastly, I apologize for any mistakes because I'm writing this on my iPhone as opposed to my iPad or laptop.... On with the story! As always, HP belongs to the Queen and I love for your comments and votes.

Ron and Hermione didn't hear about the others' plan until later that afternoon when they joined the group in the Room of Requirement, where the others had resided all day scheming.

Looking over the plans, Ron gaped at the ingeniousness of it, while Hermione nodded approvingly. The plan in and of itself was simple, but they needed some very specific and important participants. That was the most important part, because in order for the plan to be successful, they needed the Marauders and Lily.

That in and of itself should've served as a warning to Remus that this plan was going to be very dangerous. He knew the dangers of time-traveling and Hermione understood the rule that one wasn't supposed to be seen. It went against everything the two main brains had been told, and yet they understood it was necessary.

"Hello," Hermione said to the petite redhead she knew to be her best friend's mother.

Lily Evans smiled softly at her. "Hello, do I know you?"

She shook her head, smiling back. Already she liked Lily. "No, I'm new here this year. Actually, would you mind showing me around, errr..." she paused as though she didn't know her name.

"Lily," she answered and Hermione hid the urge to say, 'I know'. Lily continued, "of course I'd love to help. I can ask the girls and maybe Remus...."

"Thanks Lily! I'm Hermione, by the way," Hermione said.

Lily threw a grin over her shoulder and said, "Well Hermione, care to join me in the Great Hall for lunch?"

"Who're you?"

Ron Weasley grinned and stuck out his hand. "Hi, I'm Ron."

" 'Ello. I'm Sirius, this is James, the one with his nose in the book is Remus, and the short one is Peter," Sirius Black introduced the Marauders.

Peter nudged Sirius. "I'm not that short," he whined. Ron was already gritting his teeth at the man who'd pretended to be his family's pet for so many years.

"Well guys, I'm a new transfer here, along with my friend Hermione, and my brothers Fred and George."

"Brilliant, so have you gotten lost yet?" James asked him and his teasing tone reminded Ron uncannily of his best friend's.

"Uh, loads of times," he answered, thinking back to first year in his time when he actually did get lost.

Sirius smirked. "Well Ron, want to come to the Great Hall with us? I want to meet your friend Hermione and this Fred and George."

Ron nodded, happy that the marauders had taken a liking to him already.

Remus smiled and then waved to Lily behind Ron. Flanking the redhead were two blonds, a brunette and a raven-haired girl. Behind them smiling was Hermione.

Smirking, Ron turned to Sirius. "There's Hermione."

He became aware that Sirius wasn't listening and was in fact staring intently at the raven-haired girl who was rather attractive.

He cleared his throat and Black seemed to clear out of his stupor. Ron tried not to think of how odd it was that he was watching his best friend's godfather ogling a girl he fancies in his Hogwarts years.

"Hello," James called to the girls, although it was most obviously directed toward Lily. She rolled her eyes but returned the greeting.

Eventually she turned to Ron. "So. You must be Ron, then," she said. Ron tried to hide his shock.

"How do you know that?"

She smiled. "Hermione's told me all about you." Ron's ears tinged pink and he could only hope that what she'd said was good.

"Don't you think you're too young to play this part?" Sirius teased his second cousin. Tonks scowled.

"I'm an Auror, I think I can hunt for our dear deranged relative if I want. I still for see why Remus won't let me."

Sirius smiled softly, a noticeable difference from his signature smirk. "Maybe because he cares about you Tonks."

"You care about me too, Siri," she said, teasing him with the nickname.

He scowled and then shook his head. "Of course I do, Nymphy," he said, enjoying her wince, and then continued, "but you're family and I understand the grudge. Now Remus, see he cares about you in a different way."

Tonks tried to hide the inevitable blush, but gave up when she took in Sirius' waggling eyebrows.

"Oh please, there's no bloody way he'd ever see me like that," she scoffed, sighing as she did so.

Sirius, to her surprise, snorted. "Right. And I'm a Slytherin. The question is, Tonksy dearest, how do you feel about him fancying you?"

Tonks opened her mouth to answer but stopped short as the door to the Room of Requirement opened and in stepped none other than Remus Lupin. Immediately her cheeks burned.

Remus, seemingly oblivious, asked, "so how's the planning going?"

Sirius crossed his arms over his chest and slouched further back in the maroon armchair he occupied. "It would be going brilliant if Tonks would actually stay on task and not daydream about her lover."

If Tonks was red before, she now would give a fire truck a run for its money. And most peculiarly, Remus seemed angered by Sirius' words.

"Oh please," she rolled her eyes. "Sirius here was just asking me about how I felt with you two smothering me in protection and not letting me fight Bellatrix. He can be a bit...delusional." she finished with a pointed glare in his direction, daring him to press the matter further.

To her annoyance, Sirius shrugged her glare off and instead continued. "As a matter of fact, the person she fancies happens to reside within these very school walls." Two of them, actually, Tonks mentally corrected.

Remus looked surprised. "Oh, who...?" he trailed off, obviously not wanting to intrude.

Tonks shook her head desperately as Sirius went to open his mouth, but she was saved once again by the door opening and in stumbled the twins, followed closely by Hermione, Ron, Lily Evans, Marlene McKinnon, Mary MacDonald, Alice Prewett, Frank Longbottom, James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin.
