Chapter 10

Xavier and I found a hill and we sat down. It was starting to get dark. We watched the sunset and waited for the full moon to pop out.

Once the full moon was out Xavier let out a howl, and I followed him. Not that long after, we both heard the whole pack howl back. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

We headed back to the house and I realized we couldn't go inside in our wolf form. I looked at Xavier but then I realized that we couldn't communicate.

But he somehow knew what I was thinking and shifted in front of me. I stared at his back surprised.

"I'll go get your clothes.."

'SCARLET! Why would you say that??'

I gave out a small bark as an okay for Xavier. He nodded and headed inside. Not even seconds later two guards stood out beside me to protect me if any rouges came by.

A few minutes later Xavier came out fully clothed and handed me clothes to change. He told the guards to leave and he stayed outside with me.

I hid behind a tree and changed quickly. I headed towards Xavier and hugged him.
