Chapter 6: Two Weeks

{Hey Guys, Sorry I haven't been posting a new chapter and all for two weeks. I really have been pretty busy. I just needed a break off of Wattpad. It made me really sad, and lately I have been craving for Wattpad. OMG I'm craving for Wattpad? I should be on My Strange Addiction! Ok anyway, the song is called Be Our Guest.}

Well, it's been about two weeks since Devin moved. Tasha and Devin would switch bringing Alice to school. Tasha is stubborn so she would always say no and then give in.

~What Happen In the Last Two Weeks~

It was finally Monday, the most... what's the word? Annoyingiest, angriest, maddest, toughest, weirdest, no but for some reason not describable. Help?

Knock Knock! Devin was at the door for some certain reason. Tasha was dressed up for work and opened the door.

"Hey Devin, why are you here so early?" Devin didn't have any meetings or practice in the morning. So, he wanted to drop Alice at school every morning to keep himself busy.

"I just came over to drop off Alice at school, if that is fine with you." "No, but thank you. I can do it." Tasha replied. "I insist. You can be early to get to work." Devin insisted. Tasha did not refuse and just let him take Alice.

"Alice honey, come downstairs eat breakfast then leave," Tasha shouted. It was like this every day for two weeks now.

Alice became fonder of Devin. Devin was like a father she has never had. They would get in the car and listen to music, play games, talk, dance, eat, and more. It was their little dance party.

Devin started to become more like family with them. Well, mostly to Alice to be honest. Tasha still had some more warming up to him to do.

Tasha still doesn't like Devin because he abandoned her, heck, left her in the dust. She had felt like a fool to just trust him with everything and let him into her life. But, there is no turning back now. She had to make the most of it and at least pretend to be happy with his visit.

It was now the last week of October. So, Devin has a month and a week left before he leaves. But, he never told Tasha nor Alice that. And, Tasha has a meeting in a month for work in another state. But, let's look into what is happening right now.

~Now~

"Thank you, Devin, for the past two weeks but, you don't have to do this anymore." "Tasha, I'm doing this because I want to. Alice really likes me and I want to get to know her. If you say no one more time, I will leave."

"Fine, only because I have more time for myself in the morning. And thanks, is there anything that I could do to make it up to you?"

Devin was smirking. "Since you asked, I guess you could go to a restaurant downtown with me at 7. I'll pick you up and please come alone this time. You do owe me remember."

Tasha rolled my eyes in annoyance, he was trying to go on a date with her. Or maybe it was just two old friends catching up with each other. She hoped it was just a catch up. because she really did not want to be dating him.

Tasha thought of Devin as a pervert who just wanted to get to know her and get in bed with her. But little did she know he actually just wanted to catch up.

"Fine whatever makes you happy," Tasha grumbled. It was the morning and she didn't have her iced tea latte yet. She hated coffee the only thing that she could drink related to coffee was an iced tea latte.

She got inside to call the Matthews about babysitting Alice tonight. The family was always blissful and merry that sometimes it would make her mad for some dumb reason.

"Ok Alice which song would you like to listen to first?" Devin asked Alice while they were walking to his car. Alice loved Disney with all of her heart. "Be Our Guest!" She cheered.

They got into the car and listened to different songs from the Beauty and the Beast's soundtrack.

Devin dropped off Alice at school. He was thinking about the dinner. He was scared that Tasha would not come.
