Sofia's POV
"Ano Sofia? Still no? Haha. You'll never guess who my crush is."
Ugh. Hindi ko mahulaan ang crush ni Alice! Maraming gwapo dito sa campus and I still don't know who her crush is.
"I give up. Marami kang crush,Alice. I don't know." I said.
"Okay, fine. It's Gavriel."
What the..O - O "Gavriel?! Yung kaibigan ni Daze?!" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko. Like what?.?
"Yup. No buts. Gwapo siya. Walang aangal, okay?"
Tumango na lang ako. Sige na. Let's say gwapo si Gav,but it's just weird for Alice to have a crush towards..umm..you know, poor guy? I mean, her parents own one of the most successful and biggest hospital. My parents? Not a hospital but alot of products that are being shipped in malls and other countries like USA, KOREA, and Japan.
"So Sofia, Sino ba cru--"
Biglang may lumapit sa Amin.
"Hi Sofia. Alice, pinapatawag ka na doon sa music play practice niyo. Ready na daw ang stage design niyo."
"Oh haha. Thanks, JM. Sofia, una na ako. Bye!" Alice said then left. Geez. Nandito na naman ang awkward feeling when either Daze or JM is with me.
"So ahh... Sofia, can we go for a walk around the campus?"
"Sure." Sabi ko at kinuha na ang backpack ko. Tumayo na rin ako dahan-dahan. It's not that I'm old, fvck y'all who says that I'm old, I'm only 17! It's just because my backpack is alittle heavy.
Nagsimula na kaming maglakad. Hmm.. Okay. Ayan na naman ang gossips. Psh.
"Uy, diba si Sofia Taylor yun?"
"Hindi ba siya liniligawan ni Daze?"
"According to the rumors, busted daw si Daze. Seriously ang isang heartthrob! I didn't know Sofia Taylor likes cute nerdy boys like JM."
Psh. Porket magkasama ang lalake at babae, usapang manliligaw at dyowa na kagad? Let's check the dictionary for the word friends!
After a few walking, napadpad kami sa playground.
"OMG. JM, up for the payground?" Yaya ko.
"Sige ba."
I rushed to grab his hand at hinila siya papasok sa playground. And of course, my favorite is the swing. So I just sat there and looked at JM.
"Here. Upo ka dito." I said then pointed at the next swing beside mine.
"Thanks." Umupo siya sa tabi Kong swim and swing it slowly. I did the same to mine.
There was an awkward silence between us so I just kept swinging myself until he broke the silence.
"You know, swings are mostly popular for childish dates. They say it's romantic."
Yup. I completely agree. If I have a date, I would want to start in an amusement park. Just to have fun because I barely play with someone when I was little. I nodded at his statement.
From the side of my eye, I saw JM looking at me so I looked back at him. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked.
"Nothing. It's just me." He said but keeps staring.
