Farewell (FINAL CHAPTER)

"Why is carter here! That doesn't make sense." As I was worrying I failed to notice that Carter had approached gene and I. "What do you want?" Gene growls. "Easy... I'm here to talk to you about something both of you." He reply's quietly. By now I've tuned into the conversation. "What is this about." I question. "Personal matters, it's important." Carter states with a face filled with fear and sadness. "Ok...come with us." I whisper practically squeezing genes hand as we rush to the house. Once there we go to mine and genes room and settle down there for a minute. "Before I get into anything too serious I have some questions for you two." He says. I nod quickly wanting to get this out of the way. "How are the two of you financially? Like if you added your money together." He asks. Gene is plastered with a confused face as am I. I take a minute to think. "I don't know, we're being paid here for our performances but I don't have a job really. Gene does though." I say still a little puzzled. "Yeah I'd say around 2000 a month if we were to add both pays up." Gene says. "How close are you two?" Carter questions quickly. "Pretty close. We share a bed." I say. "You haven't...you know..." Carter asks. "NO!" Gene shouts. Carter just nods. "How is school going?" He questions again. "Um...well?" Gene says questionably. "Why are these questions do important anyway!" I shout realizing how ridiculous this is. "If this is some sort of trick to see me you're in trouble." I growl. "It's not I promise, but it's late now. You leave tomorrow yeah? I take the same boat as you so we will talk there." He says. And without another word he leaves. "That was. Weird." Gene mumbles. "Tell me about it." I groan falling back onto the bed. Gene flops down beside me. I decide that the bed is no long comfortable so I roll onto gene until my face is is relaxing on his shoulder. I hear home chuckle softly at my actions.

"What are you chuckling at?" I question as I pull myself up to make eye contact. "You and Your ridiculousness, you're so random sometimes." He smiles at me. My heart begins to melt as I get lost in his teal blue eyes. It seems like forever since we've had a moment like this. Seizing said moment gene pushes himself up. I feel the warmth of his lips meet my own. Such a soft tender kiss. I kiss back as my eyes flutter closed. Gene gradually becomes more passionate with the kiss which doesn't bother me. I kiss back with the same roughness as him. He eventually bites my lip. I open my mouth and the tongue wars begin. He won. Gene started to feel more dominant and took control of the situation. He rolled us over so now he was towering over me. I wrap both arms around his neck and pull him closer to me. He wraps his arms around my back and is practically laying on me.

Gene parts from our embrace and his kisses slowly trail down my jawline to my neck where he'd suck and bite leaving bruises all down my neck. He kisses my collarbone and down my chest. He then goes back to my face and kisses me lightly. "I love you." He whispers in my ear. "I love you too." I whisper back. After that we fell asleep both exhausted for what was to come.

The next morning/ boarding le boat

Ok we're almost all ready. Gene just needs to grab one more things and then we can actually board the boat. Gene gets back. "What'd you forget?" I ask. "Oh it's... for you." He smiles. He holds out a little container. "Here's something that will remind you of what I'm about to say. (Y/n) I promise to always be there for you and I know me and you can get through anything together." Gene says opening the container to show a beautiful promise ring. "G-gene...I don't know what to say, thank you!" I smile almost crying. I put the ring on and we board the boat. My brother is anxiously waiting for the two of us. We reach our door to see non other than carter himself. "Come on, this cant wait any longer." He mumbles. Puzzled and curious me and gene follow carter into our room and sit down. He sits down in front of us and is very nervous and is fidgeting. "What's up with you?" Gene questions. " (Y/n), gene, what I'm about to tell you is going to hurt." He says. I look over at gene kind of scared now about what my brother might say. He grabs my hand and we anxiously wait for carter to speak once more. It feels like an eternity before he actually does finally say what he's been wanting to tell you. "(Y/n) while you were away, Mom got sick...very sick. She was fighting everyday just to see you. She wanted to see you one more time..." he begins. "Her condition extremely worsened as the weeks passed and she became weaker and weaker each day. Yesterday morning she..." "Wait Wait Wait you said was, what do you mean was what happened..." I ask. I already know but I don't want to know. "She passed away yesterday. She wanted to say goodbye to you but by the time I had gotten my phone out she was already gone. She wanted me to tell you that she loves you very much and that she is always with you. And she will always be there for you when no one else is. She wanted me to tell you that she says goodbye honey see you later..." Carter says. Choking on every word. I'm in tears completely speechless. I look over at gene who is also in tears. We make eye contact and I can't hold it in everything just flows my eyes turn to waterfalls as my sons and screams were muffled in genes shirt. He hugged me tightly quietly sobbing as well. "I never got to say goodbye..." I cried out multiple times. Once I stopped uncontrollably crying. Carter looked at me. "There's more, mother before she passed had one other wish. She wished for that when she died. All money and belongings go to you and gene, she also wishes that the two of you buy a place together with her funds. She says it is her farewell gift." Carter states.

"Buy a place together?" We say in unison.

That's it's guys! That's the end of bad girl gene x reader. But but but I have decided to make a sequel it won't come out for a while but I'm making it and once it's made I'll post a notice on this book so you know so if you want to read that let me know. And just so you know I choked myself up writing this chapter I nearly burst into tears. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me and sticking with this book. Again I'm so sorry for the slowest updates but it's better to take my time to write a good chapter rather than speed writing a crappy one.
