Chapter 4: Entrance to the Entrance Exam (Entranception?)

"Where is he? The exam's going to start soon." You mumbled to yourself as you looked for Midoriya at the beach. Seeing All Might ahead, you walk up to him. "Good morning All Might, do you know where Midoriya-". A scream interrupts your question.

"AHHHHH!!!" screamed Midoriya as you looked up at his figure on top of a rusty metal container in bewilderment. "He actually did it." You said to yourself. "No... he did more than he was tasked too... He cleaned up most of the beach." said All Might as he walks towards the beach in even more bewilderment.

"Oh my... oh my GOODNESS!!!" cried All Might as he suddenly morphed into his hero form. Midoriya wavered tiredly before beginning to fall off.

"Midoriya!" You cried before rushing to catch him, thankfully All Might managed to catch him before he hits the floor.

"D-did I do it?" asks Midoriya as All Might puts him down. "Of course you did! Take a look around you!" You exclaimed as All Might begins to speak.

"Listen well, young Midoriya. Someone once told me that something that you receive because you're lucky and something that you are given because you are recognized are different in essence. Remember that Midoriya. You too (Y/N)." He said as he plucked one strand of his hair.

I've worked hard and I've made it. thought Midoriya as he watches All Might thinking that he was going to do something spectacular with the hair as you watch with a look that quickly went from confusion to realization.

"Now eat this."

"Huh?"

"Oh, this is going to be weird."

"It doesn't really matter in what way I pass One for All as long as I give you some of my DNA. Now hurry! The exam is going to start!"

--Time Skip--

   Running to U.A. High, you stop to take a breather. "Did we make it?" You asked Midoriya as he nods. "Yeah, we made it." He starts to walk ahead with you tailing behind to catch up to him. "I swallowed his hair, but did I really receive his power?" He mumbles to himself as he stops. "What do you think, (Y/N)?"

    You shudder as you remember how Midoriya swallowed the hair. "Yeah, I'm sure you do. Don't worry about it. You can test it out when we take the practical exam!" He nods, though not entirely enthusiastically. Placing a hand on his shoulder, you slightly tilt your head down to meet his eyes.

"Midoriya, listen to me. You trained without stopping even once during the last 10 months to show that you wanted his power, I'm sure All Might knows that too. Now it's time to show it to others." He smiles, happy that you were by his side. "Thanks (Y/N)."

  "Outta my way, Deku!" said a harsh voice breaking the peaceful atmosphere. You turn to see an aggressive blonde boy with ruby eyes. You raise an eyebrow at the boy as he walks towards the two of you, eyebrows furrowed at Midoriya as the person gave no indication of acknowledging your presence.

  "Kacchan!" said Midoriya, trying to have a conversation with the boy. However, it seemed like the boy was having none of that.

  "Don't stand in front of me. I'll kill you." said the boy who was apparently called Kacchan.

   Yeesh, who took a shit in his cereal this morning? You thought as Midoriya stutters in an attempt to address Kacchan once more.

  "M-morning. Let's both do our best..." said Midoriya as he makes small hand gestures that flailed all over his face. I'll As you expected, Kacchan just walked by him as he headed toward the doors. As he walked, you heard students whispering to each other.

  "Hey. Isn't that Bakugou from the sludge villain incident?" gossiped a student to her friend.        

"Yeah, he's the real deal."

  You didn't pay attention as you looked at Midoriya. "Are you okay there? You seemed pretty scared of Bakugou. Did he bully you?" You asked him. "He used to, but he's never done anything ever since that day of the incident." Midoriya answered as he looks up at you before almost shrieking out loud.

Your bangs covered your face as you cracked your knuckles ready to storm up to Bakugou and give him a piece of your mind for bullying the poor cinnamon roll.

   "Wait here for a few minutes, Midoriya." You said as you start to walk towards Bakugou. Panicking, Midoriya did the first thing that came to mind. He threw his arms around your wait and released all his strength from his legs. Surprised, you stumble and trip over your foot as the ground approaches you fast. Eyes shut tight, you wait for the impact.

Yet nothing happened. Curious, you and Midoriya open your eyes to see the two of you floating off the ground.

"Are you okay?"

A girl with brown hair and pink cheeks asked as she helps the two of you onto the ground. You nod, thanking her for coming in the nick of time as Midoriya stood still, nodding as you chatted with her.

"It's no problem! It would've been a bad omen to have trip today." She said smiling to the two of you. "Well, good luck to the three of us!" She says before walking away. You look at your phone before gasping.

   "Midoriya, we have to get our papers! Hurry!" You start to jog ahead before realizing that Midoriya wasn't listening to you.

"Midoriya?"

"I-I managed to talked to a girl!" He squealed as you sweat dropped before registering what he said. Deciding to tease him a little, you threw your hands in mock surprised. 

  "Midoriya! You don't see me as a girl!?" 

   Midoriya looked at you in surprise before trying to apologize to you. "No! That's not what I meant!" He says to you, hands flailing even more before. You pretend to sniffle before turning around and dashing into the building, leaving an apologizing Midoriya to spiral into a mess as he assumes that he made you upset. 

  You couldn't help, but chuckle a little under your breath as you hear Midoriya running after you, screaming apologies and grabbing the attention from nearby people as they gave him confused looks.
