The sun's really bright today! I woke up and put on my fluffy slippers on then headed to the bathroom.
What's this on my face? A zit?! I looked at the mirror surprised.
Ugh, zits, zits, zits!!! Why won't they stop appearing on my face?
I brushed my hair and brushed my teeth quickly, realizing it's already 13.00! I'm late for work! Oh no, what do I wear?! A sunflower dress or a soft pink dress? Do I put my hair up or down? Aishh, nevermind. I'll just wear a blouse and a pair of jeans.. sigh.
"Eomma, I'm late! Thanks for the breakfast!" I quickly took the kimbap on the table.
I ran to the front door and wore whatever shoe I could see laying on the floor..
"Okay Ha Na, fighting!!" Eomma cheered me.
"Ha Na, don't work too hard okay, pretty daughter?" Appa said to me as he smiled and gave me a thumbs up.
"Noona, are you going to be late today? Today we're picking up a puppy remember?" Dae-Ho my 14 year old brother reminded.
"Ahh.. no, I will make sure to be on time. I'll see you at the pet shop! Bye everyone!"
"Annyeong!" Everybody answered.
What time is it now? Aiishh! 13.16! I ran faster and faster until I realize that I wasn't wearing my sneakers but my little brother's... Noona mianhae, Dae-Ho..
As I said, the sun's really bright today and soon it wasn't refreshing anymore but killing me. I kept on running and running until I finally saw a stop sign next to the traffic light.
Breathe.. Ha Na.. breathe..
Then I ran again and ran again until I finally arrived at the flower shop I work at, I pushed the door and the bell rang meaning someone/a visitor came in.. usually all the workers which are Min-Hee, Jeon-Ji and Hyun Woo will greet immediately but since it was me, I saw Jeon-Ji stood up then sat down disappointedly.
"Eonnie, why did you come so late? I worked overnight finishing all the orders, so tired.. Now that you've finally come I'll go home and rest. Take care eonnie!"
"Ahh.. Jeon-Ji.. Mianhae.. I woke up so late after writing articles last night. Go take a rest I will take care of the rest of the orders, okay?" I feel so bad for Jeon-Ji because she's worked so hard doing most of all the orders alone.
"Ne, algesseoyo eonnie. Oh, and there's a special VIP order for a bouquet of red roses for a proposal that needs to be delivered at 4 at Kaze Hotel. I finished half of it already and put the details on the notepad next to it, please be on time eonnie! I'll go now! Bye!" Then the door closed and the bell rang again.
"Annyeong, Jeon-Ji!"
Where is the red bouquet? I whispered to myself as I searched through the room and all the flowers stacked on top of each other.
Ah here it is.
100 red roses with gold wrapping..
I took the roses from our storage room and placed them on the white table where we do most of our work at. I also took the navy blue ribbon and some tape.
I put my headphones on and set my alarm for 4 o'clock.
Put this here... wrap this one over here.. and this one there..
I put the roses and the arranged them neatly to create a neat shape for 100 roses.
Tape here.. tape there..
I made sure that everything's perfect and nicely done.
Kring..kring.. The bell rang.
"Excuse me, can I place an order for tomorrow?" Said the lady with curly hair and floral printed dress.
"Oh no problem, miss. Please write your order on the piece of paper here." I gave her a piece of paper and let her write her orders.
"Here," She said as she smiled.
Medium bouquet of white roses and one blue heart lily in the middle
"Please make it beautiful and pretty." She smiled again as her eyes wrinkled.
"Okay, no problem miss. It's our job to make it pretty, just like you!"
"Ah.. thank you." The lady was blushing.
"It'll be 55.000 Won, what time will you want it delivered?" I asked her.
"Oh, I will take it myself tomorrow at 11 a.m. It's for my son's death anniversary, I'd like to take it myself." For a moment I was deeply touched by her words and soon smiled at her, "I will make sure to create the best bouquet."
The door closed again and I went back to my work.
As soon as I was finished with my work, I headed out and placed the bouquet carefully in a special gift box to make sure the flower is fresh and neat until the destination. I got on the bike and went straight to the hotel as time showed 3.30 already. But.. suddenly.. IT STARTED RAINING. Ughh!! I wasn't even wearing a raincoat!! It was raining so hard that I couldn't even see anything! The road was so slippery so I decided to stop for a while near a convenience store.
Oh no, I'm going to be late if this rain doesn't stop anytime soon.. I whispered to myself.
I waited and waited until the rain finally calmed itself, though it was still pouring hard. I got on my bike again and speed up to the hotel since time showed 3.55 p.m.
As soon as I arrived at the lobby, I ran and ran with all my clothes wet and my hair wet, I brought the bouquet with me as I headed up to the restaurant immediately to find the customer who ordered this bouquet. Oh no.. I'm dead.. it's 4.30 already!
Just then, I saw an older man in suit looking mad as he kept on looking at his watch.
"Excuse me, did you order this bouquet?" I asked..
"Oh, you're finally here! Why are you so late?! You should've been here 30 minutes ago! It's a good thing that my girlfriend isn't here yet!" Woahh.. just as soon as I opened my mouth to speak and say sorry he was very mad at me! I mean, you can't blame me! I couldn't see a thing in the rain because it was really hard!
"Where's your boss? Huh? I want to talk to her!" The guy yelled and yelled, collecting attention from a lot of other people.
Just then... a neatly suited guy came to us.
"Excuse me, what's wrong here?" He friendly smiled and asked.. in that moment I was lost in his smile.
