The familiar ring rung through my ears as I pulled open the door to my father's building. A sigh escaped my lips before I was greeted by the lady at the desk. I had never learn her name, never really felt like I should. "Hello, Park Jimin." She said, a nice smiled laid on her lips. "Is my father here?" I reply back, looking her straight in the eye. "Yes, I will buzz you in." She answered, her eyes on me. She looked like she was thinking about something, but I pushed it out of my mind as I walk away, hearing the door buzz.

"Jimin, sit." His eyes stayed locked on the computer. I sat down in one of the chairs in front of his desk, crossing one leg over the other. The cushion of the chair bringing back memories of when I use to come here when I was little. Back when my father used to take me to work with him.

My hand wrapped tightly into my fathers, moving even closer to him as we entered the big building that he owned. He had just started his business, and today we were going to visit it for a short time. Me and him were gonna go fishing, but he had to pick up something from work first. We reached the desk and lady peered down at me. "You brought your son to work today, sir?" She smiled, her eyes on me then back to my father. The lady was very pretty, but her smile made me happy. "Hey! You smile like me!" Her eyes formed crescents, and she had a very wide smile.

She turned to my father quickly, seeming to try and keep the smile on her face. "I'll buzz you in." I wondered why she disregarded my comment, but before I could ask, my dad shuffled me into his office. "You're gonna work here one day, Jimin." My dad said, a soft smile on his face. He was looking through his drawers, but every once and a while he would look at me. "Really?" My excited, 9 year old, self asked. A laugh came from my dad. He had a big and hearty laugh, like what I said was genuinely funny.

"Yes, really." My dad grabbed my hand again, as he had finished finding what he needed. We stepped back out of the office, passing the lady again. She turned to us, more so me, and there was an evident frown on her face. I use my free hand to wave at her, then turn back as we head out the door.

"Jimin! Are you even listening right now?" Dad's voice knocked me out of my daydream, as my eyes settled on him. "Sorry, what did you say?" Pursing my lips together. "I said, you need to get a girlfriend. We need something to spice the public up about our company, and you having a girlfriend, will do that." The clear discomfort on my face was evident to him, and I went in to protest, but he stopped me before I could.  "I've called Lee Ji Yeon's parents, and we've agreed for her to come down here. She will be your girlfriend, once again." I thought I would never see her again. I didn't want to. My trust would never fully be there because of her. "I have a girlfriend." My lips moved without me thinking.

"What?" I nod, having given my father false assurance. "I have a girlfriend. So if were done here, I'm going." I pick myself up from my seat, my father being at lost for words. He probably thought I wouldn't ever get a girlfriend after her either. "Bring her to me, tomorrow." I hear him say, my back now facing him and my hand on the doorknob. My breath hitches in my throat, how was I gonna be able to bring him a make believe girlfriend? Stupid Jimin, stupid stupid. I nod, and bring myself out of the office, shutting it behind me.

Walking back toward the front door, I noticed the lady was gone. I looked around for about a second, before I head out the building, getting into my car. The car starts as soon as I get in, me throwing myself back into my thoughts. Where was I gonna get a girlfriend? I could buy one.. "Hey, Woo young. Do you know where I could buy a girlfriend?" I ask the driver, who I was very close with. He had been my driver since I was young.

"Getting quite lonely, aren't you? Well I could recommend you some sites..I'm sure someone would love to date a handsome young man like yourself." Woo young answered, a bright smile on his face. "Aw, Woo young. I knew you would fall in love with me one day. Sorry, I don't date older guys. Or guys at all." I smirked, leaning my back against the seat, hearing Woo young chuckle at me. "One day I'll get my chance." A small laugh came from me, as my head peered outside the window of the car.

So many people were walking, trying to get to their next destination. Some with kids, others by themselves. A familiar face caught my eye, making me lean forward to try and see if they were who I thought they were. "Stop the car." The car immediately came to a halt, a pair of eyes looking back at me. "Is something wrong, Jimin?" Woo young asked, his voice laced with concern. "No, nothing. I wanna get some air. Can you go pick up Kookie?" I say, getting out the car before he could answer.

I hear the car drive off, myself now being placed onto the sidewalk. It was her. The girl from earlier. It seems she had saw me too, because she was now stopped. I quickly started walking forward, but she seemed to be quickly walking backward. "Wait. Stop." I say, now completely facing her. "What do you want? I thought I was too noisy for you." She replied, her arms crossing against her chest. "I wanted to apologize, would you come with me?" I raised an eyebrow, looking her up and down. She must've just came from university, as she was wearing a backpack. She nodded slowly, and followed me to a cafe that was only like a block away.

There, we both sat down at a little table in a corner. I could tell she was alert from her body language. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna try and murder you." I said, amused by her. She relaxed a bit. "Maybe." I whispered, leaning in closely. Her eyes bulged out of her head, and she quickly stood up. "Hey! Why did you bring me here?" I chuckle, and gesture for her to sit, her being obedient.

"I told you I wanted to apologize." I said, pursing my lips together once again. "So, apologize." She moved her head to the side slowly, her eyes still locked on mine. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insult you that day. But in my defense, you were being loud." She breathed in, and her hand went to pull on the string of her backpack. "Doesn't sound like much of an apology to me..." She trailed off, her eyes now wandering around the cafe.

"I wanted to talk to you about something. I need a favor." She scoffed, and rolled her eyes. "Like I would ever help you." She said, her gaze back on me. "I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend." I say seriously, but it seemed like she took it as a joke. She let out a cough, but a smile was on her face. "No." She simply say, her being the one that's smirking. "I'll pay you. As much as you want. I'll pay for your tuition." I say, trying to convince her. It had to have been that, right? "I don't want your money." Wrong. She didn't want money, so what did she want? "After this, I'll leave you alone. I'll never bother you. I just need you to pretend to be my girlfriend for one day, and that is it." I try again, hoping this would appeal to her. "You'll leave me alone. I'll never see you again?" I nod and look deep into her brown eyes. They were pretty.

"Okay. I'll do it." She says, making me clap my hands in victory. A small smile came on my lips as I heard her answer. "Wow, you do have a smile!" She smiled back as she watched me. The smile quickly left my face as I cleared my throat. "Thank you for doing this." I say, going back to my serious voice. "Give me your phone number." She seemed shook by this, her eyes almost popping out of her head. "So I can send you the directions. Don't get to excited." I smirk, her reaction being funny to me. She hesitated to hand me her phone, so I take it out of her hand and open it up. She had a picture of her as her home screen, which made me laugh at bit. She clicked her tongue and said, "Hurry up." I inserted my number under Park Jimin, and handed her back her phone.

I start to stand up. "I'll see you tomorrow. Dress nice." I say and look her up and down once again. "As nice as you can." And with that, I start to leave. But before I could, a thought came into my mind. "Wait, what's your name?" I turn back, this question making her obviously irritated. "You don't even know my name? Why did I agree to this.." She trailed off before she finally answered. "It's Angel. Min Angel." I nod and leave with that. Min Angel.
