17. TELLING HER EVERYTHING

Riya's pov

It has been 3 months from that road trip and everything is going smooth. The distance between me and Siddharth is still the same but we are not 2 unknown personalities like before. We are friends now. Yep.

"Riya. Please be fast. I am already late. "

And this made me come out of my day dreaming.

"Ohh!!! Yes coming Siddharth. Wait a minute. "

I come outside the home in a hurry. He is already waiting there for me in a car. The journey was silent as always. This thing remains the same. He never says anything. He focus on road and me on him.

We reached the hospital and he left without any byee. So rude. He must be in hurry. I went inside and started to attend my patients.

It has been 4 hrs. Suddenly everyone started to running. There must be new patient I thought. I asked nurse and she told me there is a case of car accident and the patient is on very serious condition. The patient is in operation theatre right now.

Don't know why but my heart starts to beat very fastly. I just start to go towards OT. As I go there the person seating outside the OT shocked me.

Siddharth's pov

I just completed today's surgery. And I am hell tired. It was 6 hrs surgery. I even didn't bid bye to Riya today. And I need to meet her now. Why so much eagerness Siddharth!!

"Ohh !!! Hello Dr Oberoi. Done with surgery. " Aahhhhhh!! This Dr Aashika. Seriously right now I am in no mood to deal with her. I just want to meet Riya. Riya that girl. She is full of nautankis. Btw we are friends now. That was also her idea but I am happy with it. Btw where is that girl. Ohh !!!! This Aashika is still here.

" Hello Dr Aashika. BTW you know where is Dr Riya. Actually I need to discuss with her some case. "

" Ohh right you don't know about her !!!"

" What ??"

" Actually 2 hrs ago her mother admitted in hospital as car victim. And she is very critical. Dr Lee is handling her case. And she is outside the OT with her dad. We all tried to talk to her but she is broken and continuously crying......"

I just didn't hear her next sentence. Shit why I was not there with her. I just ran towards OT.

Riya's pov

Mom is still in the OT. Papa is sitting next to me. But we two are not talking. He is just looking at the floor. I was impatiently looking at the operation theatre door. Suddenly I saw him standing just away from me with tears in his eyes.

I just ran and hug him. The emotions in this hug I can't even describe in the words. This is the most secure place in the world. I can feel the peace. Our moment get disturbed when Dr Lee come outside the operation theatre.

He smiled and said ,"Don't worry Riya everything is ok. Your mom is perfectly fine. She has some minor fractures but other things are pretty good. You do not worry I am always there for you. "..

With his last sentence my left hand get squeezed. I just look at Siddharth and I can clearly see how angry he is! He was not even looking at me.

Mom got shifted from ICU into private room. And firstly papa went to meet her in happiness. I was so happy for both of them.

"You must be so happy right now. " Siddharth said putting his hand over mine.

"Yes totally. You know when I saw her completely drenched in blood. I was so lost. I didn't know what to do. That's when I saw Dr Lee. He.... He promised me that he will do his best. But you know then too I was so tensed. I can't even think about losing her. She is my everything.......she....." I don't know when I started crying. He hug me again in a comfortable way.
