14. UNEXPECTED TURNING

Riya's pov

"Good morning, Mr Oberoi"  I came downstairs with 440 volt smile on my face. I still remember yesterday clearly. The most memorable day of my life. I so want to share it with maa.

"Good morning Riya. " And here I again starts to blush. The time from he started to call me Riya something is happening in my heart.

I just give him a smile. And in the return he give me blank look. As always 😂😂.

Maai served us dosa and chatni.
"Omg Maai it is yummy. I just love it."

"Thank you beta. Baba do you want some more??" She asked Mr Oberoi.

"Yup Maai one more please." He answered her and then look at me. Shit!! He caught me staring at him. But who cares. I continue giving him smile.

"Are you OK Riya or there something happen when you were asleep. Why are you smiling like a mad woman."

"Uh-huh.......... Mr. Oberoi actually......."

"How many times do I have to call you don't call me Mr Oberoi. It sounds like I am very much older. Please just call me Siddharth. And eat fast. We have to leave in 5 min. Come directly in parking lot."

Ohhhhhh yesssss. He again said to call him Siddharth. I thought after that incident he will become Rude. But no he is normal.

After 5 min I sit in the car with him. Our ride is silent as always. But this silence is not normal for me today. I want some conversation between us.

"Uhh Mr Oberoi.... Sorry I mean Siddharth........"

"Thank God you call me Siddharth."

" Ohh welcome 😂😂."

Suddenly he slows down the car. The lady standing at the roadside looking familiar. Ohhh she is Dr. Ashika. And Dr Lee is with her. Shit!!!!

"Dr Oberoi don't stop the car.  They can see me with you."

But he still stops the car. "Don't worry I'll handle it. They must be waiting for lift. "

He stops the car. " Hello Dr Oberoi and Dr Riya....... Actually you here ??????"

"She was on the bus stop so I gave her lift. I think you guys also need it. Sit behind. "

I give both of them smile. I can't look into Dr Lee's eyes. They must be questionable. After last night I switched off my phone too so I couldn't give him any explanation about my sudden disappearance.

I look at Dr aashika but she comes near me and whisper in my ears ," uhhh Dr Riya can you just sit behind. Plz plz plz you know na....Mmm. I want to sit with Siddharth."

My temperature become above 100°C. How can she!!!!! Siddharth gave me look. " Ok Dr Aashika. " I just come out and sit behind. Siddharth is looking at me with irritation. I just love that he don't like Dr Aashika.

"Actually Siddharth I can't just sit behind. I feel suffocated there. So I just ask Dr Riya to switch the seats. Tysm Dr Riya. So sweet of you. "

"Hmm." I just don't want to talk with her. Mr Oberoi ufff no Siddharth look at me from rear mirror but I just ignore him.

In this I just forget that I am sitting here with Dr Lee. I look at him and smile. In return he just nod his Head.

"I am so sorry Dr Lee for yesterday. Actually there was an emergency and I need to leave. My battery was also low so I don't know when my mobile gets switched off. I am really sorry."

"Hey Dr Riya pls don't say sorry. I can understand as I am also a doctor. We are ok. Don't worry."

Ohh thank God. I gave him again a smile. Now I am feeling good. Suddenly my eyes caught Siddharth's eyes from mirror. He was looking at me annoyingly. Very good......... So he thinks that I shouldn't even say sorry to him. What is his problem. Maybe he is jealous. Yeppie 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁.

I just smile and at my internal thought. Dr Aashika is continuously talking. Uhhhhhh can't she stop for a single min. Suddenly she puts her hand on Mr Oberoi's shoulder. How dare she!!!!!!!!😔😈. I am going to burn her hands. I looked at Mr Oberoi angrily and in return he give me smirk.

I can clearly see how uncomfortable he is under her touch. But just to show me he is smirking. So you want it as a game. Then let me show you the winner Mr Oberoi. No no riyu Siddharth. Uhhhhhh I love when I called him Mr Oberoi. I will call him that only.

"Dr Lee by the way you are looking very handsome today" in the reaction he just blush. While saying this also I am only looking at Mr Oberoi. Take this. I score more than you man. I did happy dance in my mind.

"You are also looking beautiful."

"Uhh... Thank you Dr Lee."

I again looked at Mr Oberoi. He eyes are like shooting draggers to Dr Lee.

"As our last night plan failed. Let's go out again.....  "

But his sentence doesn't get complete as Mr Oberoi stops the car with sudden break. It was completely unexpected. Before I asked him what happened Dr Aashika asked him in her sweet coated voice.

"What happened Siddharth??? Is everything okay?? Did anything hurt you??? Show me."

I just looked at her irritatly. And I looked at Mr Oberoi. He was looking at me only. I just love it when he looks at me when all others are around. This is not the time Riyu to happy about it....

"Dr Lee will you please come and sit at front??" We all looked at him shockingly. Is he serious??

" Actually my right hand is paining a lot. So it's difficult for me to drive."

I don't know why but I started to blush at that moment. Like seriously. He wants to sit next to me or in more appropriate way he just wants to remove Dr Lee from my side 😂😂😂😂.

"OK Dr Oberoi."

With that he comes to sit next to me. I avoid eye contact with him completely.  He was just looking outside.

Uhhhh!!!!!! If he just wants to look outside then why the hell he wants to sit next me. I expect at least a normal hii hello conversation with him.

"Riya so what I was asking is let's go outside again. "

No I can't use Dr Lee again for my purpose. I was going to say no to him but before I answer him the man next to me said the shocking thing.

" Actually Dr Aashika I will also like to go out with you. Let's go."

I looked at him with my eyes widen. He just looks at me blankly. I hate you Mr Oberoi.

"Yes yes yes. Let's go Siddharth. I am ready. I have an idea. Let's do double date. What say guys."

"Nice idea." Dr Lee said.

In the back seat we both were just looking at each other. I am not liking this at all.

I just nod at Dr Lee while Mr Oberoi also does the same.

As hospital come I was the first one who left the car. I didn't even look back at 3of them. Let's see what is going to happen tomorrow.
