Colin narration: "Three years ago my girlfriend and I died in a tragic motorcycle accident". "We thought we'd move on together, but my fears that I've had for years weighed down on my shoulders ". "It sent me to Limbo, where I met him.. Raef". "He lied to me... Saying he was my friend and never would leave me and I believed him". " That belief, and a touch of his hand, left me trapped in his realm.. But not before my memories called on Lain for help ".
Flashback on Lain's first arrival: "you don't belong here" "where did you come from?" The whispers say.
Colin: "She helped my child self face those fears, and it made me stronger". " But Raef tried everything to keep me from believing that ".
Flashback of Raef and Colin: " ı ɬơƖɖ ყơų ƈơƖıŋ, ʂɧɛ'ʂ ƈɧąŋɠɛɖ ". " ı'ƖƖ ŋɛ۷ɛr Ɩɛą۷ɛ ყơų ცųɬ ყơų ŋɛɛɖ ɬơ ɠı۷ɛ ɱɛ ʂơɱɛɬɧıŋɠ ɬɧąɬ'ƖƖ ɧɛƖ℘ ". " it's embarrassing " "ŋơ... ıɬ'ʂ ℘ɛrʄɛƈɬ".
Colin: " He tried every move possible to stop us ". " It even triggered a dark awakening that revealed his true colors ".
Flashback of Lain and kid Colin vs Raef: a huge clap of thunder is heard making Lain and Colin turn around. On the balcony of the movie theater stands Raef but with a darker aura and black smoke around him starting to fill the room. " ɬɧɛrɛ ყơų ąrɛ! ". " ɬɧɛ ცrơƙɛŋ ɠırƖ, ąŋɖ ɬɧɛ ცơყ ῳɧơ ŋɛ۷ɛr ῳąʂ ". " ყơų'۷ɛ ცɛɛŋ Ɩųƈƙყ ʂơ ʄąr ". " ცųɬ ıŋ ɬɧɛ ɛŋɖ.... ı ąƖῳąყʂ ῳıŋ!" He declared. "Lain... Go... Save me" states kid Colin
Colin: "In the end we were able to destroy him but at a cost". "I was able to move on, but Lain had to stay behind". " however... There's one thing I know for certain ". " Fear is a needed emotion in the world that we have to live with ". " As long as there's fear... He will exist ". " He will always come back ". "This time though, I will not let him trick more innocents, it's time I rescue Lain and face him once more in my own way ".
