(Isabella's POV)
I had just woken up and I was looking at the text Gretchen sent me. Last night I decided that I needed some sleep before I dealt with this, but I still didn't know what she was talking about. I thought that the best way to ask her was to call her and invite her over. It felt like we had to discuss this face-to-face. So I called her. But she didn't pick up. I tried again, still nothing. I sighed. She must be really mad at me. So instead I just texted her and told her to come over.
I went downstairs to get some food before she came. I found my mom making waffles already so I waited till she finished. It wasn't long before I got a stack of waffles in front of me. "Thanks mom." I said.
"No problem Isa. Now I'm going out, you'll be fine right?" my mom said. I only nodded because my mouth was full.
I watched her go out, and I was alone. Only 10 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. I walked over to open it. Once I did I saw a very mad Gretchen. I smiled and said "Hi." She didn't answer. She just walked in and glared at me.
"How could you?" she asked. I still didn't know what she was talking about.
"How could I what?" I said.
"Don't act dumb, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You kissed Ferb at the mall yesterday. I thought it was all fake."
My eyes grew wide. She saw that? "Gretchen I-"
"Plus you hugged him! Like you two were really dating!" She interrupted me.
"Let me explain." I tried.
"No I saw what I needed to see." she said. Did she not see me pull away from him? "I was walking around then I saw you two kissing, I turned away, then a few seconds later I turned back around to see if I saw what I think I saw, and then I see you two hugging! You told me that nothing serious was going to happen between you two! You knew I liked him! Why did you do this to me?!"
"Gretchen calm down. You have to listen to me. I didn't kis-" I started, but she interrupted me again.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say!"
"Gretchen, stop yelling at me and listen!" I screamed, a bit annoyed now. She glared at me, but kept quiet as if she was letting me talk.
"Ferb got shot by a love ray." I started "Which is making him think that he loves me. I didn't kiss him, I don't want to kiss him, he kissed me. But I quickly pulled away. I only hugged him because I knew that he isn't totally himself right now. Of course I was mad at him, but right now he doesn't really have total control over his actions. Gretchen you know I would never do something like that to you." I finished.
"Oh." She said. "Well are you doing anything to get him back to normal?" she asked.
I nodded "Yeah Phineas is working on a machine. But he needs some parts from Blowtorch City to finish it. Unfortunately it's not open right now so he can't finish it yet."
"How did this happen?" she asked.
"I don't know."
"Well I'm sorry for accusing you, I should've know better. But you have to start thinking what you're going to do after Ferb is back to normal. Because I am not letting you continue your plan and fake date him." and with that she left.
I sighed and sat down. She was right, this got me in a lot of trouble, I can't risk it happening again. Even though it'll be really strange if it did. So I can't continue 'dating' him.
I didn't want to think about that right then, so I went over to Phineas's and Ferb's backyard in hopes that I could help them with the day's activity. But when I got there they weren't working on a big awesome invention, they were just working on the machine that would turn Ferb back to himself. And when I say 'they' I meant just Phineas, Ferb was just calmly siting under the tree reading a book.
