Jealousy: A Phineas and Ferb Fanfic

Chapter twelve

(Gretchen's POV)

I woke up and I looked over at my clock on my night side table. Beside it there was a picture of me and Isabella. I glared at it. Even though she explained what happened I was still mad at her. I mean I told her not to do this plan! Look where it's gotten her! Plus I don't even think it's working, Phineas did not look like the jealous type at all.

I tried to forget all that and got ready. But when I was done I started thinking about it again. Was she even telling the truth? I mean was Ferb really shot by a love ray? Or did they actually kiss and are a real couple? In fact was this whole thing a lie and it was just a way to get to Ferb without me knowing it?! I frowned. I needed answers. Isabella was no help, so I decided to ask the other person who knows about this, Ferb.

I made my way to the Flynn-Fletcher house. Once I got there, I saw no sign of Ferb. The only person there, was Phineas.

"Uh...hi." I said a bit awkwardly.

Phineas looked away from the machine he was working on. "Oh hi Gretchen." he said.

"Is Ferb here?" I asked.

Phineas shook his head "His on a date with Isabella." I frowned at that part. Phineas may not be jealous but I sure was.

"So what's this?" I said referring to the machine he was working on.

"This is the...well I don't know what to call it. But its supposed to make Ferb stop loving Isabella. You do know that he got shot by a love ray right?"

I nodded. So this was the thing Isabella was talking about. If Phineas was really making the machine then Ferb must've really gotten shot by the love ray. Right? Unless she lied to him too. Ugh why was I doubting her so much?

"Why not call it...The Unlover?" I suggested.

"Yeah that's cool." Phineas said with a smile.

I was still thinking about Isabella and Ferb. I wanted to trust that nothing was going on. But I couldn't! It was driving me crazy. I sighed.

"What's wrong?" Phineas asked.

I looked up. I didn't even realize I was looking down. "Um...I'm just a little blue that's all." I said with a fake smile.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No I'll be fine." I said as I started to walk away "Thanks."

"Please! I have nothing to do and no one to talk to." Phineas pleaded before I got to the gate.

"What about working on the machine?" I asked him.

"I'm done. There's nothing more I can do. I just need the parts from Blowtorch City and it'll be finished." he said and gave me smile that begged.

"Fine then, I'll tell you." he lighten up so much I though he was going to start jumping up and down. I guess he has been alone these days, with Ferb and Isabella on dates all the time.

"So there's this guy," I began "and I have a big crush on him. Unfortunately he sort of has a girlfriend, in fact he kind of loves her. Whenever I see them together or think about them it hurts. I don't like it. Because its making me sort of hate her, and I don't want to hate her. I mean it's not like it's her fault." I paused there. I realized that I had just lied. This was Isabella's fault! If she hadn't done her stupid plan none of this would've happened!

I looked at Phineas, he was silent. I knew that telling Phineas this wasn't going to help. I mean it's Phineas! He wouldn't understand.

"I know exactly how you feel." he said after a minute. This surprised me a lot. He knew how I felt? "I'm in a similar situation. It turns out that I love this girl but when I found out it was too late. She already had a boyfriend and they seem happy together. I can't do anything about it now. I'm forced to live with it." I looked at him with wide eyes. He was in love? Could this girl be Isabella? Or was it someone totally different?

"May I know who this girl is?" I asked filled with curiosity. He looked at me for a moment.

"You have to promise me you won't tell her, or anyone." he said.

"I promise."

"Ok," he hesitated for a little bit "it's Isabella." He said. So he actually did love Isabella! Great! All that's left is turn Ferb back to normal, Phineas to confess his feelings, Isabella and him getting together, and Ferb and Isabella will be no more.

"Can I know who your crush is?" he asked.

I looked at him. I guess it was fair since I know his. "Fine, but you can't tell anyone!" I said.

He nodded "Ok."

I sighed "Its Ferb."

(Isabella's POV)

I was trailing behind Ferb. We were in the mall again. It seems like I've been in the mall everyday this week. But I haven't bought anything.

I stopped and looked at a beautiful sundress, it was pink, and it had lacing all over. It was simple but I loved it.

"Do you want that dress?" Ferb asked sneaking up beside me. I almost jumped because he surprised me.

"Uh..." was all I could say.

"Come on." he said pulling me into the store.

"Hello, how may I help you?" a saleswoman asked us.

"We'll like that please." Ferb said pointing at the dress I saw.

"Ferb what are you doing?" I asked him once the saleswoman went to get the dress.

"I am buying my girlfriend a dress." he said simply as we made our way to the cash register.

"Ferb you don't have to do that. I can buy it myself." I told him.

"I know I don't have to do it, I want to do it."

I frowned. When I saw him handing over the money I stopped him by grabbing his hand.

"I'll buy it." I said.

"No." He said.

"Ok, how about we split the cost?" I tried.

"No."

I sighed "Fine." I slowly let go of his hand. I watched him hand the money and just like that the dress was bought. He gave me the bag and I had to take it. Then he kissed my forehead and made his way out. I slowly followed him until I was stopped.

"Miss," someone said. I turned around. It was the saleswoman. "You have a very kind and sweet boyfriend, don't let him slip away, those don't come around very often."

He isn't my boyfriend I thought. Its just Ferb, and that's not Ferb. By that I meant he wasn't acting like Ferb. Sure Ferb was sweet and kind when he wanted to be, but not this much! The real normal Ferb wouldn't buy me a dress. He also wouldn't talk as much as he's been talking the past week. So this Ferb was not Ferb.

I smiled at her "Thanks." I said, and walked out of the store. Once again trailing behind Ferb.

Ok, so Gretchen's POV so you can see what's going on in her brain. Looks like she's really jealous. And Phineas and her told each others crush! Will they plan on breaking them up?

There's only two or three chapters left. :(

Next chapter Blowtorch City opens! What will happen when Ferb is back to normal?

Guys Ferbella is so adorable! I can't! I just love writing they're scenes! And a love struck Ferb is just so amazing! I love it!
