Chapter 3

Daniel looked at me in shock
Daniel: Your kidding right?
I shake my head no as tears threaten to fall out of my eyes. I start to run, away from Daniel and towards my house. I hear my name being called from behind me. I slow down and start wiping away the tears, Daniel catches up and stands in front of me. I look away, trying not to look at him.
Daniel: hey, hey look at me.
I look up at him.
Daniel: why have you never ridden in a car before?
I shrugged
Daniel: Y/N you can tell me anything... you know that right.
Y: this is the first time I've ever been out of my house.
Daniels eyes widen is surprise. He takes a deep breath and looks at me.
Daniel: why, why have you never been out of the house?
Y: my mom has been really sick since I was really little. My dad doesn't handle it well. He takes it out on me. He doesn't let me go outside; henceforth I've never been in a car.
I wiped away a couple tears and sniffed. Daniel wrapped me in a hug.
Daniel: I don't even know what to say. I am so sorry.
Y: it is what it is. I'll be fine.
Daniel: no. It's not fine. From now on you tell me anything you want I'm here for you. What's your phone number?
Y: I don't have a phone
Daniel: well I'm getting you one.
Y: my dad won't be happy with that, he will know that I have been outside and then I'll get punished for it. Just pretend like we have never met.
I said as I tried walking away
Daniel: no. I am getting you one. Do you think you can hide it. Keep it on silent and keep it somewhere safe.
I looked at him for a second, my mind was racing with thoughts. I didn't understand why someone I barely knew would help me, why they would care so much. I smiled to myself and hugged him.
Y: thank you. Thank you so so much. You have no idea how much this means to me.
Daniel: trust me. I am happy to help. Now let's go to my house. I'll be right there with you.
I nodded and wiped away the rest of my tears  we started walking towards the car again. Corbyn was sitting on the curb waiting with his head in his hands. Jack was leaning against a car. Jack looked up and saw us.
Jack: are you okay Y/N?
Y: yeah. I'm good.
I smiled at him. He smiled back.
Corbyn: let's go!
*after the car ride*
The car ride was nice. It actually wasn't scary at all. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Daniel: thank you!
He said to the driver as we got out.
Corbyn: so here is the house. Beware we do live with 2 other boys.
He chuckled.
Jack: I think you'll like them.
I smiled and walked with them up to the front door. Corbyn opened the door and waved his hand for me to go in first.
Corbyn: ladies first!
Y: Why thank you kind sir.
I joked in an accent.
Jack: hey Jonah, Zach we are home!
Jack yelled into the house.
One boy came from the right and stepped in front of me.
???: helloooooo, I am Jonah, what is your name?
Y: I'm Y/N
Jonah: well Y/N, can I follow you wherever you go, because my parents told me to follow my dreams 
I giggled a little.
???: Jonah did they bring a girl home because if that's your pick up line game I can do sooooo much better.
A guy ran down the stairs and looked at Jonah and then at me. He was beautiful. He had the most beautiful eyes I'd ever seen, they were dark chocolate brown. And his hair, his beautiful hair, it was brown but lightly touched by the sun. And I was speechless. I couldn't breathe, he was breath taking...

I ran down the stairs with the best pick up line in mind. But as soon as I hit the last step I saw her, she had the most beautiful light brown hair with sparkling greyish blue eyes. She was stunning. She was extremely short and her her smile was out of this world. I have never ever seen anything like her. And she was staring straight at me. Everything else had faded and I couldn't see anything but her. Time slowed down and it's like I was going to pass out from the glowing that radiated from her. She was amazing and I feel like I'm walking on air...

Everything surrounding me faded to darkness and all I could see was him. He was dashingly handsome and I couldn't quit looking at him. It was like I was stuck into a trance that I couldn't get out of, not that I wanted to... but two fingers snapping in front of the guy and I brought me back to the present.
Y: what what?!?
Jack: are you two okay?
He said chucking with the others.
I nodded
???: we are fine thank you.
Daniel: oh ya we know you think she is fine.
He said laughing.
The guy blushed and smiled gently. He had a great smile.
???: I'm Zach.
Y: I'm Y/N
Corbyn: okay love birds now that we have all been introduced Y/N wants to hear us sing soooo... let's harmonize.
Daniel: ok boys pick a song.
They huddle up and I giggled. They all turned around and Zach smiled at me. I blushed and looked at the ground.
*they start singing Perfect by Ed Sheeran* I looked at Zach, he was staring at me THE ENTIRE TIME.
They sang until the end of the chorus and I clapped.
Y: you guys are amazing. I didn't know that you guys were freaking pop stars!!
Daniel laughed and Zach blushed.
Zach: well we do have a lot of fans. We are getting more popular everyday. It's a dream come true. You haven't heard of us?
My eyes widened. I looked at Daniel, hoping he would catch on. Daniels eyes widened after a second and realization crossed his face. He looked at his watch.
Daniel: hey guys Y/N has to be home in about an hour and we still have to go shopping so say good bye I promise I'll bring her around again soon!!
Daniel said the last part as he grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door.
As soon as we got out I could breathe again.
Y: First of all, thank you! Second, shopping?
Daniel: your new phone, we have to go get it.
Y: Daniel you don't have to do that.
Daniel: I insist.
Y: Fine. But it's 10:26 and I have to be home in an hour. So we better hurry.
Daniel smiled.
Daniel: let's go.
Daniel called an uber. We got in the car.
*Arrived at the Apple Store, we walk in*
Y:woah, Everything in here is so cool. I've never seen anything like it.
Daniel: so here are the iPhone 8's and up. Pick whichever one you would like!
I walked through the store looking through the different types of phones. I stopped in front of a beautiful one and pointed to it. Daniel came over and smiled.
Daniel: haha....
Y: what?
Daniel: this is the newest model. It's called the iPhone X. Let's get it.
Y: yay!!!
*after we got the phone, you are on the way to the car*
Daniel: so... I have to get you a phone number and put you on our plan and everything. So I will bring it to you when you would like me to. I am going to give you my old phone for now. And we are going to make you a snapchat so that you can talk to me and tell me when to bring your phone. I don't want to intrude and I don't want to get you into trouble so... how do you want to go forward in this?
Y: I know how to hide it, first of all. Second of all, yay I am so excited. And last, what is a snapychat?
Daniel laughed and opened the car.
Daniel: I'll show you.
