Tratie - Travis Stoll and Katie Gardner

Chapter 1 ~ The beginning

"TRAVIS STOLL!!!!!" Katie Gardner shouted walking from her cabin.

She could hear Travis, and his little brother Conner laughing in the trees. She flung her hand up, and the next thing they knew, they were upside down, hanging from trees like monkeys.

"Come on Kates!!! Put us down!" Whined Conner with big puppy eyes.

"No! You almost ruined my moonlace garden! Do you know how long it takes to grow 1 single flower??" Katies replied back with frustration. "You two are giant Idiots!!!"

The boys started squirming trying to get out of the tree's grip which just made things worse.  Katie walked away mad, leaving them dangaling by their feet.

"KATIE LET US DOWN!!!!!" Yelled Travis. 

With that, Katie turned around and grinned. She put her hand in a downward motion and the boys both at once fell on their faces. she laughed and stared walking to the pavilion for dinner.

That night Travis stared up at the bunk bed when His brother, Conner, peaked down looking at him.

"Hey man you awake?"

"Yea, why?"

"Can't sleep,"

"Me either"

"Your thinking about Katie arn't you?? It's pretty obivous you like her, you should tell her,"

"Katie probably hates me.. I've wanted to but I don't wanna get rejected,"

"Good thing for you, we have to go to the strawberry fields. Where the Demeter cabin is every morning. I'm going to try and sleep.. you should too!!!"

"Yea, whatever,"

"Heyyyy Kates........" Travis said walking up behind Katie.

"What did you do Stoll?" Katie asked looking at him with a suspisous face.

"Nothing this time, swear on the river of Styx;"

"Ok well what do you want?"

"Could you maybe meet me back here tonight? Like after dinner?"

"I guess so, why?"

"I really need to talk to you.. but like in private,"

"I'll be here at 10:00..."

 They both went back to doing there normal stuff in Camp Half Blood, fighting, training, hanging out. Then the old Aphrodite head counselor, Drew started picking a fight with Nelly, a girl from Katie's cabin (Demeter Cabin). Nelly was not the prettiest girl at camp, but she still was pretty good looking. Her hair was always frizzy, and she always had blisters on her hands. Drew started making rude comments about how she was ugly, and how she was always going to be single, when Katie ran up to them both with a huge crowd around.

"Drew knock it off!!! That is so rude!" Katie said looking at drew in the eyes.

"Well it's true. The whole Demeter cabin is ugly.. all of you!!! Always having blisters, and messed up hair and outfits. You look homeless." She said looking past Katie right at Nelly.

"Drew picking on people does not make you any better of a person, it makes you worse. Guess that's why Piper's head counselor, maybe if you looked at her and took notes you might be decent." Katie knew she hit a nerve, she stood there with her arms crossed as there was "oohs" and "Burns" being said through out the crowd. Drew turned red like a tomato with rage. She took out a dagger from no where, and sliced Katie's arm and chest. Katie fell to the ground with pain, and heard Travis yelling before everything started spinning and she blacked out.
