Chapter Six

~ Ashton's P.O.V ~

I sat there gobsamcked, unable to move, unable to breath. My heart was beating, fast. I stared at the cool blue/green water beneath my, now cold feet. The world felt like it was spinning. I could feel Liv staring at me but i was unable to even turn my head.

"I'm sorry.." She whispered, now crying a little hader than before. I jerked my head upwards and looked at the sky, not wanting my best friend to see me cry. A small, cold tear rolled down my pale face as i stared up into the stars.

"I'm crazy." She said wiping her beautiful, delicate face. I turned my head to look at Olivia, who was now breaking down. I grabbed her hand causing her to look into my swollen eyes.

"If you think you're crazy.." I grabbed her cheek and slowly moved my head towards her face, both of us breathing heavily.

"Then i must be insane." i moved my head in closer, touching our lips together. This was it. The moment i had been waiting for, for years. I had now kissed the most beautiful girl in the world. I pulled away slowly and smiled at my best friend.

"You l-like me?" She asked, voice croaking.

"No." I answered truthfuly.

"Then why did you kiss me?" She asked, almost crying once again.

"Because.. I love you." I smiled whilst grabbing her and pulling her closer to me. She laid her head on my shoulder and hugged me tight. I hummed slightly whilst holding Olivia's head close to me.

"I love you too Ashton.." She replied, honestly.

"I love you too.."

~ Liv's P.O.V ~ I opened my eyes to the sound of Ashton's extremely loud snores, causing me to smile. Gee he could be the heaviest sleeper, and the lightest, when he wanted to be. He looked so peaceful, so i decided to let him be, slipping off of the lounge and making my way into the bathroom. I closed the door lightly, now knowing all of my family was still asleep, including my parents. Ahhh weekends! I turned myself to look into the mirror and rubbed my groggy eyes. I looked hideous in the morning, and the last thing you want is your bestfri-. Wait.. Ashton. Last night. The kiss. Everything came back to me. We were cuddled by the lake and i let out my biggest secret.. And apprently, so did he. I smiled at the thought of what happened. I snapped back into reality and brushed out my matted hair. I could hear movement from down the hall, so i quickly applied some natural make-up and walked back into the lounge. I sat on the lounge i slept on and stared at Ash. He was so adorable, i just had to take a picture. I took out my phone to see i had a message from Michael.. again.

I heard what happened sleeping beauty.. ooh! I told you! Lovers! He better take care of you! xx

I chuckled a bit at the message and how chlildish, yet concerned he sounded. I slept alot yesterday, so i wasn't tired at all. I looked at the top of my phone, realising it was only 9:00AM. Probably why Ash wasn't awake yet. I decided to go on my social media, fogetting completely about the picture. I opened up Facebook first. I scrolled through my feed until Ashton started to stir. He cracked open his eyes and shone me the biggest and sleepiest grin.

"Good morning." He croaked.

"Morning." i replied, putting down my phone and walking over,sitting on Ashton's lounge. He put is arm around me and smiled, kissing me lightly on the cheek.

"How are you?" I asked cheerfully.

"I'm great, after our little smooch last night." He winked playfully causing me to giggle.

"Does this mean we're like a thing now?" he asked, tightening his grip on me. My smile slowly faded as i looked him in the eyes.

"I don't know Ash.." my eyes became glassy

"You're away for so long, and when you come back, you might like someone else an-"

"Olivia.. i would never like someone else." He looked me dead in the eye and lost his smile.

"You are my princess. My gorgeous, amazing, smart and cuddly princess." He lightly kissed my forehead making me smile like an idiot.

"We're a couple." He smiled into my neck making me only melt, and fall for him even more.

"Finally!" I Joked with him, before looking into his beautiful brown eyes and kissing him again. I could get used to this!
