Chapter Five

~ Liv's P.O.V ~

"Ashtonnn!!!" I screamed almost deafening myself.

"Asshhhhh! Wake uppp!" i poked his cheek, playfully at first then forcefully making him growl in pain. He slowly opened his eyes looking at me and letting a small grin lead onto his face.

"Good morning bea-" I raised my eyebrow at what he was about to call me.

"That's sweet" I winked at my best friend leaving his cheeks a bright red colour.

"So what do you have planed for today?" i smiled walking over to my best friend and placing myself on his lap.

"Erm.. i dunno." He said while yawning and rubbing his eyes.

"Awh! Looks like someone's a little tired." I mocked, leaving Ashton to giggle.

"Why don't we just stay home and watch movies." Ashton said whilst resting his head on my back.

"Just like the old days!" I screeched excitedly and moving myself to look at him.

"Yep!" He sounded sleepy, but just excited as i did.

"Disney Marathon?" I asked getting off of Ashton and moving his arms off my waist.

"I was thinking scary movies." He said winking at me and getting up from the lounge he was on.

"No! You know i hate scary movies Ash!" I looked at him whining

"Then we can cuddle." He winked while putting in his favourite scary movie, The Conjuring

"We could.. but maybe get a scarier movie like seriously! We've watched this movie almost every weekend when we were younger!"

"Awwww! Pleeeaaasseeeee!" he begged with his adorable puppy dog eyes

"See, this is why we watch it all the time.. You always make yourself look too damn cute!" He shone me a quick smile and gave me a kiss on the cheek before tucking us under a blanket.

"What's the time anyways?"

"Erm.." I reached onto my dresser and picked up my ice cold phone, checking the time.

"1:00PM! Jesus! I don't remember you sleeping in that much Irwin." I loved calling him by his last name, it made me feel in charge.. and with Ashton.. you need somebody to take that role.

"Well sorrrryyyyy! Lets just watch the movie." He adjusted his pillow behind his head and pulled me closer to his chest.

"Popcorn?" I asked motioning to the kitchen.

"Extra Butter?" He questioned with the most serioius look on his face. The kid reaaallyyy likes his extra buttered popcorn..

"Yep.. It's like i knew you were coming!" I moved his arm for a moment as i stood up and walked towards our tiny kitchen. I turned on my phone, and saw a few texts from no other than Michael Clifford.

UMM!! What have you done with my best friend missy! I want him back, its only been a day and i miss him like crazyyy! xx

Awh! He's so adorable when it comes to Ashton. They've been best friends since the week Ash joined the band. Mikey's definitely one of my best mates too! He can tell Ashton and i like eachother and encourages us to date but we just laugh it off.. Why would Ashton want to date me anyway? I'm.. Olivia..

"Livvv!" Ashton whined from the lounge room

"The microwave went off minutes ago! Hurry uppp!" I didn't realise but Ashton was right. I must of forgotten when i was talking to Mikey. I quickly messaged him back..

Sorry Mikey! He's mine for a few weeks! YAY!! xx

He replied almost immediately, making me smile like an idiot.

AWW! Alright i'll leave you lovers to it xx

I scoffed at his reply. I put my phone down and grabbed the warm popcorn out to the microwave, putting in in a basket, the way we used to.

"OLIVIA!!!!"

"Okay, Okay! Jeez!" I sat on the soft, warm lounge and wrapped myself in Ashton's arms. He immediately shoved a hand full of popcorn in his mouth.. Classic..

"Watch this!" He yelled while going down a long, windy slide upside down.

"You idiot your gonna kill yourself." I mocked. I watched as he quickly slid down, falling into the sand.

"You love me!" He giggled brushing the sand out of his hair.

"And.. So what if i do!" He looked at me confused yet smirking at the same time.. Why the hell did i just say that.. you idiot Olivia.

"Do you want do go for a walk by the lake?" He asked changing the subject

"Sure" i smiled. Ashton reached out his hand signalling for me to take it, and i did. I swear if people in public saw us they'd think we're the cutest couple out. Everything was quiet, and the only noise was the birds and crickets. It was about 7:00 now and the sun was almost gone.

"I missed this" ashton said breaking the silence

"Me too."

"Olivia.." He took my hand and sat me down on a log, dangling our feet in the cool water below us.

"Yeah.." I answered, now looking into his beautiful, brown eyes.

"Do you think there will ever be an 'us'?" He asked completely serious. I looked at the ground, blushing like crazy. Does Ashton Irwin.. My best friend.. Like me?

"There already is an 'us'. Were best friends you know that!" I pretended i didn't know what he meant but sent him a friendly smile.

"You know what i mean Liv.. We act like a couple all the time but we're not dating. We know everything about eachother and we do everything together.. You're always there when i need you and i mean ALWAYS! There's never been a single time you haven't been there for me." He had a point. I could tell him everything. I trusted him more than most of my family.

"Do you think so?" He snapped me out of my thoughts. We've had this conversation so many times and i always replied with the same thing

"Don't you think it would ruin our friendsh-"

"I want a different answer this time Olivia.." I hesitated, and jerked my head towards the water that was now glistening from the moon light.

"Oli-"

"To be completely honest with you, i have liked you since i was 9 years old and the way we act together just makes it worse. I've always wanted to call you more than my friend.. But i've been way to scared to tell you..  You are the most amazing person i know and i can't imagine life without you Ashton." I looked up at him with a tear forming in my eye.

"Yes. I think there could be an us.."

AWWW! Hey guys long chapter today :3 i really like this one! :) sorry i rushed them into this so soon but what do you think Ashton will say back?

Soo... i was sick again today :( GET BETTER ALREADY OMGGG!

I legit cried for like an hour over a fanfic i read today.. its perfect!

I might update again tonight but probably not.. SORRYY! but there will be an update tomorrow or Sunday and maybe even two chapters at a time :D
