Special Memories (Akashi x Kuroko)

Chapter 3

Two weeks already passed and Akashi-kun hasn't woken up yet. And all the days that passed not one relative ever visited him. They still give money for the hospital fees but they didn't even try to bother visiting him.

I sat down beside him and stroke his head gently.

"Akashi-kun, you do have everything, looks, brains, wealth, but you luck the most important thing. A parents love."

I kissed his forehead then stood up.

"I'll go out for a moment Akashi-kun. I'll be back early evening." Then I carresed his cheeks and went on my way.

-At Seirin High-

I went to school to have a one on one talk with coach.

"So how is Akashi-kun?" is the first thing coach asked.

"He's doing fine. But he hadn't woken up yet."

"I hope he get well soon." Coach said while patting my shoulder.

"Yeah, Thanks coach." I smiled. "And one more thing." I continued. "I think I..."

"No!" I haven't even finished my sentence, coach suddenly shouted which made the other players look at us.

"But coach, I haven't said anything yet."

She shook her haid.

"No, Kuroko-kun, I won't allow you to quit."

how did she know?

"I'll allow you to not attend practice for the mean time and take care of Akashi-san. But no quitting. We will finish our fight until the very end. Understand."

I suddenly realized.

Coach is right. This is also their last game before they retire. I want to play with them until the last.

"I understand coach. I will do my best. Thank you very much." I said and bowed.

"That's good to hear Kuroko-kun." she said while smiling.

"Very well then coach. I need to go back now.. Thanks again for everything." again I bowed.

"That was nothing and also give my regards to Akashi-san, I hope he wakes up soon."

"Yeah, Thanks again."

Then I went on my way. But I haven't even gone out of the gym someone suddenly called me.

"Kuroko!" Its Kagami-kun. I look at him.

"What is it, Kagami-kun?"

"C-Can we have a talk for a moment?"

I nodded. "Sure, what is it?"

I can see everyone looking at us.

"Not here." He said then he suddenly grabbed my hand and drag me somewhere on the back of the school.

"Kagami-kun?" I called him feeling confuse. Then suddenly we stopped amd he let go of my hand.

"What is it?" I asked.

He face me. Then he grabbed both shoulder which surprised me.

"Ka-Kagami-kun?" I'm feeling nervous now!

"Kuroko, listen." he said then he gulped. "I-I know its no use saying this. But I need to get this out of my chest."

"Wha-what is it?" I asked nervously.

"Kuroko, I.. You see.. I Li---"

But suddenly my phone rung. I opened it and it was the hospital. At that time, I felt somewhat relieved.

"Its the hospital." I said.

"I-Is that so? Why won't you answer it. It might be important." He said, but he looks disappointed.

"Ok, Just a minute."

I answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Is this Kuroko Tetsuya-san?"

"Yes. Is something the matter?"

"We just like to inform you that Akashi Seijurou-san finally woke up and he's looking for you."

Hearing the news I started trembling, my heart feels like its gonna burst out my chest any minute now and tears started falling down my cheeks.

"Hello? Kuroko-san?"

"Ah, ye-yes. I'm coming now." I said and hung up the phone.

Then I wipe my tears and went to Kagami-kun.

"Did something happen, Kuroko?"

I shook my head. "Nothing. Its just Akashi-kun, he finally woke up."

At first Kagami-kun had a disaapointed look but it was eventually turn into a smile.

"Isn't that great? You should go see him now." he said. then I nodded.

"Yes. Sorry Kagami-kun let's talk another time.."

"yes, will be seeing each other anyway."

"yeah, I'll be going then." Then I left Kagami-kun standing there.

I run and run, even forgetting I can just get a taxi to make it even faster but my mind is blank and all I can think about is Akashi-kun. I miss him so much. I want to hug him tight, Kiss him and apologize to him.

So I run faster until I finally reached the hospital. I banged the door open and almost out of breathe and there waiting for me my most beloved person.

"Tetsuya."

I missed his voice and so I rush to him and gave him an embrace. I cried hard in his arm while calling his name so many times. I can feel him stroking my hair and telling me that everything is alright now.

I'm well aware of that.

But all my worries just flew away and I felt so much relieve that I can't control my tears, knowing that he's fine and far from harm.
