Special Memories (Akashi x Kuroko)

Chapter 4

After Akashi-kun woke up, the doctor suggested that he stays at the hospital for a month and as for me I satrted attending practice again.

After practice I immediately go to the hospital and stay there the whole visiting hours.

1 week later

At the hospital.

While fixing him some food he suddenly called for me.

"Tetsuya, come here." I immediately went to him.

"What is it Akashi-kun?"

"Sit down, Tetsuya." So I sat down beside him.

"Call me by my name." he suddenly said.

"Huh?" Is the only thing I manage to say due to surprise.

"I said call me by my name." When I was brought back to my senses I can feel my cheek burning.

"B-but, Akashi-kun, Tha-that's so sudden." I'm trying to defend myself but I was powerless from those eyes.

So I just bowed my head and shyly said his name.

"Se-Seijurou-kun." Then he suddenly patted my head. I looked at him and he was smiling.

"Very good, Tetsuya." he said.

His smile is very sweet and it is very calming.

I smiled back at him and hugged him and then he hugged me back and started patting my back and stroking my hair.

We remain like that for a moment. He keeps stroking my hair which feels really good. I was about to fall asleep when he suddenly called my name.

"Tetsuya."

I look at him and our eyes met.

Such beautiful pair of eyes. I said to myself.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I want to leave the hospital." That statement of his shocked me.

"N-No, you can't. You still need to be monitored." I said trying to convince him. Because once he made up his mind theres nothing to be done.

"Its boring here and I want to go on another date with you." he said while looking straight into my eyes. I felt myself blush so I averted my gaze and stood up. I turned my back from him.

"Y-you definitely can't."

"Tetsuya, I want to be discharge tomorrow. I'm fine now so that should be alright."

Again I looked at him. He has made up his mind, his eyes says it all and I really can't do anything about it.

"O-ok, I'll talk to the doctor." Is all I can say. "I'll be back." and went out.

And so I went to the nurse ward and ask for the assigned doctor to Akashi-kun. After a while he came and talk to me.

"Sensei, Akashi-kun wants to be discharged." I said and the doctor looked surprise.

"We can't do that, Kuroko-kun. We still need to monitor his condition a bit more." said the doctor.

"I-I know that. But he's made up his mind. If anything happens to him because we didn't give what he wants, I don't know what I'll do." I said, trying to convince the doctor.

"Ok. calm down, Kuroko-kun, I'll go talk to him." The doctor said and we went back to Akashi's room.

At Akashi's room

"Akashi-kun, I know the hospital is boring and all, but we still need to confine you here for a month, so we would be sure there is no complication in your body because of the accident." The doctor explain to him, trying to convince him.

"No. I can't do anything here. It'll be more bad for me to stay here." He said then glared at the doctor. I saw the doctor flinched.

"Fi-fine, we will discharge you earlier than the given time. But not tomorrow." The doctor said.

I was surprised on the doctor's decission, Akashi-kun's not suppose to be discharge in the hospital for a month and its only a week.

"Then, discharge me the day after tomorrow." he said with a commanding tone.

I want to say no, but the doctor has the last say in it.

"Bu-but that's not possible." the doctor muttered.

"Its not?" said Akashi-kun to doctor while constantly glaring at him.

"Akashi-kun, stop it. Please." I said but he didn't even respond and he just ignored me like that.

I saw the doctor gulp. "Fi-fine. Bu-but be sure to have your monthly check up. So if you'll excuse me." Is the only thing the docotor said and he went out of the room. But I followed him.

"Wait! Sensei, Wait a minute. I want to talk with you." I said chasing after him.

"What is it Kuroko-kun? I have nothing to say. We'll discharge him the day after tomorrow."

"That's the problem sensei. I thought he needs a month to fully recover?" I asked looking really worried.

"Yes that's true. But if the patient wishes to be discharge that badly we can't do anything about it." He said but he's averting his eyes away from me.

"What kind of statement is that sensei? His teraphy is suppose to be for a month. Your a doctor you should know that more than anyone else." I sad trying to convince him.

"It's fine as long as he attends his monthly check ups. Besides, 'if anything happened to him because we didn't give what he wants you don't know what you'll do' right?" he said.

I flinched. Yeah, I know what I said but if anything happened to him because I made a wrong decission I'll hate myself even more.

I don't know what to do anymore. Such a careless and idiotic doctor is taking care of him. What should I do?

My mind is going blank.

"Ok, Fine then. I'll let you discharged him early, since I don't want an idiotic doctor like you who only care about himself continue to take care of him."

"Wha--?"

"But remember..." I glared at him. He flinched. "If anything bad happens to him. I'll ruin your life!" I continued and walk away. I left him alone there standing and he seem dumbfounded.

I know its impossible to do that but Love knows no reason and I'll definitely will do anything for Akashi-kun. I won't let anything happen to him. I won't let anybody harm him. I will protect him. That's how much I love him.
