McCoy stood looking at bruce thinking over what to do he had heard from logan about the illuminati and was less then happy with them but charles was like family to him.
"And what would that question be?" asked hank already knowing what the question was.
"I need to know how he would have voted" said bruce.
"Let them in hank" said charles tellapatheticly startling hank.
"I assume charles told you what to do" said bruce.
"Right this way" said hank leading the group inside.
"Nice place" said naruko looking around the school.
"Thank you miss" said Charles stepping into the room with several of the senor x-men.
"Your walking" said a surprised bruce.
"Yes many things have changed Bruce" sad Charles.
"Yeah they have"
After a short awkward silence.
"So I know you know why I'm here so how would you have voted" said Bruce looking him dead in the eye.
"I will not say this with pride or honor but give your actions at the time I would have voted to send you away" said charles causing several of his fellow mutants to give him disappointed looks.
"Really" said bruce his eye briefly flashing green before naruko placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Let me ask you one question would you have voted to send the mutants away?" asked naruko shocking everybody.
"Absolutely not" said charles.
"But several mutant caused mass destruction whether intentional or not" said naruko.
"Yes there have been multiple tragic events caused by mutants sadly" said Charles.
"Okay but what makes the hulk causing destruction makes it worse then a mutant doing the same?" asked naruko.
Charles couldn't think of an answer because truly he didn't have one.
"Is it because he is different then you?" asked naruko.
Charles looks down not able to looked them in the eyes.
"Chuck was it because he was different?" asked logan speaking for the first time.
"Yes" Charles finally answered.
"I'm not angry charles just disappointed you used to be the one person who wanted to protect people who were different but now what happened to you" said bruce confused by his one time friends actions.
"I can't say bruce I do not know" said Charles ashamed of himself.
"Charles look at me" said hank getting his attention.
"You have betrayed your own values because you feared what you couldn't understand just as people fear us because they do not understand" says hank.
"Chuck your better than that we know you are a good man but you gotta remember why you started this school for" said logan.
"You were a good man charles but at some point you lost your self and I hope you find your way back to that man who would stand up for people when no one else would because that is the man mutants and this world needs" says bruce walking away leaving the x-men to themselves.
