Ch 6

6 years after Artemis and Hestia adopted him

Somewhere in the Washington Forests near the Olympic Penesula

Artemis Pov

I was feeling very proud at the moment ... but I was also feeling very angry at the same time. Today Percy turns six years old and when me and the Hunters come and try to surprise him he isn't in his tent. Then when we turn around there he is with a rope in his hand and a trickster smile and he let's go of the rope and a metal gate closes and several buckets of pink paint fall on us. I had to admit that him sneaking past us and rigging this trap up last night with no one noticing I was impressed, but I was also angry about what color our hunting outfits were now a very ugly bright shade of pink. Me and the Hunter's will just have to let this one go because it is his birthday and the Hunters really do love him.

Flashback

I had just flashed back from that hospital room and Hestia would be here soon with Perseus. So I gathered  all the Hunters  that we would be getting a new member soon  and that they would be coming here with Hestia. They were all excited until I said "but..." then I told them that it was a boy they started to  get angry but then I told them that it was only an infant that was even a day old they calmed down enough to explain to them that we were going to make this the best male to ever walk the earth. After I said that they erupted in cheers and I could tell that they really liked that then I told him how me and Hestia were to be His adopted mother's and that he was going to be a powerful demigod because he was blessed by Apollo when he was born, and since me and Hestia adopted him he would have our power's too. And then Hestia arrived and all the Hunters imeaditly feel in love with him and you could tell they would do anything to protect him.

Flashback end

Percy's Pov

I was on the ground laughing at mom and sister Zoe's faces when they got paint all over them and the faces of the Hunters were also priceless then after I was done laughing I let them out and then I was bombarded with hug's and then it was there turn to laugh because the paint wasn't dry so i got paint all over my self when they hugged me. Oh well what can I say it was my turn to play a prank on my sister's and I got them good but I knew that the next prank they pull on me will be twice as worse. All I know is that I can't wait for my other mom to arrive she said that she had a very special present for me.

Hesta's Pov

it has been 6 years since I adopted Percy and this year I wanted to give him something that was from his birth mother and I think I found the perfect thing. I flashed to the Hunters camp and am imeaditly given a hug from my son. He is very excited and covered in pink so I ask him "Why are you pink?" then he tell's me the prank he pulled on his sister's and how they hugged him to make him pink to. So after that was cleared and I had cleaned him up I told him that I have his present and that he couldn't have it until he finished his breakfast and he did it in record time to (15 seconds to eat a stack of pancakes 5 high with 3 egg's and 2 piece's of bacon) he ran over to me and jumped up and down in excitment. Then I pulled out a box and told him that it was from his birth mother and that got him excited all over again. when he opened it it had a slip of paper that I got from Sally herself and it said "Percy I know you wern't able to meet me but I want to let you know that I love you and know that we will see each other again some day, From you loving mother Sally. then inside the box is a picture of his mother in Elysum and on top of that is the most preacios piece of jewlary that his mother had it was a gold ring with diamonds forming a heart with an emerald in the middle. Then I told him that this was passed down from his mothers mother and that his mother was giving it to him now.

Meanwhile on the other side of the country Percy's sibilings Thalia and Jason Grace are starting there adventure Thalia running away and Jason being kidnapped by Hera
