Chapter 3

While in her room packing she began to remember Saizo's words when he described the person she was gonna marry.

Saizo said he was the future lord of the Adagaki clan and that he was the youngest that had master ninjutsu and unfortunately his good looking too but was really serious on his works.

The Adagaki has been our rival for many years now.

Why would they agree on this?

Usagi sighed and made her way out of the room where she saw Mamezou sitting obediently on the ground with his bag on his side.

When the boy noticed Usagi he immediately rushed by her side and reached out his hand. "Let's go, Usagi-sama."

Usagi felt her heart warmed up. Even though everyone thinks she's useless, there is but one that thinks of her as the greatest one of all.

After the two of them finished being all heart warming, they went out.

And as expected as soon as they walked out people started to open their mouths.

"Huh,  so there was actually a use for her. "

"Thank goodness she's going to leave now. We finally don't have to bare the shame anymore. "

"But I wonder if she will be accepted. I mean it's the Adagaki clan that we are talking about here and they priorities experts above all. "

But the crowd was soon silenced by a sudden voice from afar"Shut you mouths you pile of Ingrids! "

The people recognizes the voice and began to bow while making a path for the chief Saizo.

Saizo approached Usagi and he hold out his hand, giving something to her. Of course Usagi accepted it. "What is this? "

"That is your mother's weapon. Take and be sure to take care of yourself." he said as he turned around, refusing to look at her for Saizo was blushing now.

Usagi know Saizo was really not a very honest person. Even though he was strict and was always yelling at her and calling her names he still love Usagi.

Saizo was waiting for his granddaughter to criticize him,but what came to him was a warm feeling on the back. Before he could even react Usagi tightened her gripped and whispered something to him. "Thanks, great grandfather I love you. Take care."

"Get off me!" Even though he said that, he was practically burning up.

Usagi was flung back and she smirked.

What a tsundere grandfather.

Usagi and Mamezou was now deep in the forest. Nothing out of the ordinary happened but it was still not reassuring.

Mamezou happily walked after Usagi, hopping in delight.

Usagi felt helpless of him. "Mamezou! Be careful,  there might be wild dogs! " she said as she was trying to scare Mamezou.

"Don't worry Usagi-sama, if a dog does shows up I'll cut him with this katana that the chief gave me. " as he said that he was surprised to see a dog that is very angry was right in front of him.

He was so surprised that he jump to the tree and clung unto it. When Usagi saw this she burst out a laugh.

"There's nothing to worry about. See its such a cute dog too. " she said as she walked over to the dog and hold out her hand.

But as soon as she got closer to it, it began to snarl. It was so aggressive that even Usagi was scared now. "Good boy, there's nothing to be mad abo-"
