August Mcnab Portrayed by: Nick Robinson Age: 15/16 Personality: Much like Lina, August was once a very kind young man, until his mother and younger sister were lost to the virus. Feeling as if the world is to blame, August is closed off and untrusting, only confiding in his overprotective father, and eventually Lina. Has a great sense of humor, and can be very loving at times.

Robert Mcnab Portrayed by: Robert Downey Jr. Age: 38/39 Personality: After losing his wife and daughter to the virus, Robert is now very overprotective of his son. Previously was a cop, and continues to keep an eye one people around him.

Lost more than most people, yet still manages to be the positive person within the group of survivors. Very protective of his younger brother, shields him from the dangers of the world.
