Book 1: Girls Just Wanna Play Gaims (Scott McCall)

This class has been dragging on forever. I'm tired and i'm hungry and i'm ready for lunch. An annoyed look appeared on my face as I realized Scott's eyes were boring into the side of my head. "What?!" I whisper yelled as I turned to the right of me to look at him.

He blushed a little before smiling sheepishly. Huh. That's weird. "I was just- I- um- you're cool." he said. I raised my eyebrow at him as he dropped his head on the desk. I heard a snicker and looked behind me to see Stiles trying to cover up his laugh. "Smooth sailing, buddy" he said. I grinned at him before turning to Scott.

"Why are you so shaky now, Scotty?" I asked, as I tilted my head to the side. His face turned red and I gave him a sly smile. This guy is so easily won over.

"Maybe Ms. Thomas, Mr. Stilinski, and Mr. McCall would like to contribute to the discussion since they have so much to say" Ms. Leanne, our Chemistry teacher said.

"Uhh nope." Stiles said. "Nothing over here." Scott said. "Nada" I said. Ms. Leanne smiled sarcastically before going back to her lesson.

"When is the bell gonna—" Stiles was cut off as the bell rang. I zoomed up and outta the classroom. Then stopped immediately as I realized I had no idea where the cafeteria was. I turned around only to bump into a hard body. I looked up to see Aiden.

I smiled. "Hey Ai" I said. "Lani" he said as he gave me a hug. "You ready to eat?" he asked as Ethan and a guy named Danny walked up. "Hey I'm Danny" he said as he grinned and held out his hand.

I grinned as well. "I know. I'm Kehlani. Call me whatever, I have a lot of nicknames" I said. Danny furrowed his eyebrows as I mentally facepalmed. "You know me, how?" he asked.

The twins looked at me in a panic as I said, "Ethan texted me and told me he met a cute guy." I smoothly lied. He blushed a little before looking over at Ethan, who was looking at me with wide eyes. I winked at them.

Aiden wrapped his arm around me. "Let's go guys" he said. It felt like someone was staring at me. I looked back to see Scott shooting daggers at Aiden. I shot him a confused look before turning around.

"Seems like Scott likes you" Danny said to me. A look of realization came over me. So that's why he was looking at Aiden like that. I heard a low growl come from Aiden.

I let out a little yelp as I felt Aiden's claws pierce my shoulder. I quickly look to him before slamming him into the lockers. "Woah what happened?" Ethan asked. "He pinched me" I said as I kept walking.

"Cafeteria's this way" Danny said as he grinned at me. I rolled my eyes before smiling and walking back to the couple. "Is he gonna be okay?" Danny asked as he pointed to Aiden who was still up against the lockers rubbing his head.

"Yeah he'll be fine" Ethan shrugged as he put his arm around Danny.

*Cafeteria/Scott's POV*
"You totally like her" Stiles said to me as we walked in the cafeteria. "I do not like Kehlani" I said as I looked at him.

"When did I say Kehlani?" he asked as my eyes widened. I smiled a little as I thought of her. She was so pretty. "Hey buddy. Come back to earth and stop zoning out in Kehlani land." Stiles said.

"But it seems as if you might have some competition" Stiles said. "What? Who?" I asked as Stiles pointed behind me. I turned around to see Aiden wrapping his arm around Kehlani's waist and kissing her cheek.

My nostrils flared as I turned around and slammed my hands on the table, causing the entire cafeteria to look at me. "Can we help you?" Stiles asked. And i'm glad he said that because everyone started back to what they were doing.

I turned around to see Kehlani's eyes still on me before she turned back around and started talking to the twins and Danny again.

"Fuck it" I murmured before standing up. "Hey. Woah what are you going to do?" Stiles asked me, standing up as well. "Just sit down" I said as I walked over to the table where the twins, Danny, and some more people just sat down.

"Hey Lani" I said nervously. "Lani's the only one you see?" Danny asked me, smirking. "Hey Danny" I said as I gave a short wave. "Hey Scott."

"Well .." I trailed off as the words got caught in my throat. I heard a low growl come from Aiden. I smirked, that growl giving me all the confidence I needed. "I was wondering if you wanted to come sit with us. Us being Stiles, Kira, and Lydia? The girls should be here soon, and you can meet them." I said as I smiled towards her.

Kehlani grinned. "Sure" she said as she stood up. I gave a mental sigh of relief. I saw Aiden's eyes flash red before Ethan put his hand on his arm. "See ya later KT" Aiden let out forcefully. She gave him a confused look before saying, "yeahh. Bye everyone" she said grabbing her tray.

"Thanks so much Scotty. I did not want to be at that table." she said in relief. I grinned. "Well you can sit with us whenever you like" I said as she nodded and smiled.

"Who's this?" Lydia said as Lani sat down.

*KT's POV*
I can tell I'm not gonna like this chick. "Who are you?" I asked as I put my head in my hands and batted my eyelashes mockingly. "Lydia Martin." she said blandly. "Kehlani Thomas." I said in monotone.

Then the girl perked up. Hm. I might like her after all. "You're very pretty. And I like your shorts. We're most definitely friends now" she said as she smiled at me. I grinned. "Well you're very pretty too. And I like your dress!"

"I thought this was going to be very, very bad" Stiles said. Scott pointed to him in agreement. "I'm Kira" the other girl said. "Kehlani. Nice to meet you" I said as I smiled. She grinned and said "same to you!"

I looked at Kira. Then I looked at her with my werewolf eyes. Lydia and Kira looked at me in amazement as I said "kitsune?" She nodded. "A thunder one" "Nice" I said as I started eating my food.

"I've never seen a werewolf with light purple eyes before" Lydia said. "Me either. I don't know what kind of werewolf I am. My leader tells me I'm the only werewolf of my kind."

Static then came through the speakers. It was really loud. Scott and I covered our ears as the sound became almost too much to bear. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!" I let out. Then the sound just stopped. I uncovered my ears to see Lydia, Kira, and Stiles looking at me and Scott like we were crazy.

"You guys didn't hear that?" Scott asked as the sound started again. "FUCK!!" I heard from across the cafeteria. I opened one of my eyes as I looked to see the twins on the ground. "It looks like it's only affecting the werewolves" Lydia stated. Then the sound stopped.

Then the intercom turned on. "Your school is on lockdown. There is no way out and no way in. Cellular towers have been deactivated. The internet has been cut. There is one way out. To find out, you have to find me. And kill me. Before I start killing everyone in this school, including the .. what's a good word .. "gifted" people here in the school." Then the intercom cut off.
