"Let's go" I said standing up. "Ethan, Aiden!" I said, as I nodded my head towards the door. Lydia, Kira, Scott, Stiles, and I walked out the doors and stood beside the lockers.

"Okay so whoever it is, obviously knows about the supernatural world" I said as Ethan and Aiden walked up. "And whoever it is, obviously was just in the office. They couldn't have gotten that far." I said as my claws slid out.

I started walking towards the office. "Woah woah woah" Scott said as he grabbed my arm but I shook him off and started running. I heard footsteps behind me.

I burst into the office and ran to the back room where I thought the intercom was. At this point, I was completely wolfed out. As soon as I touched the door, I was electrocuted. I let out a pained growl as I changed back to human and dropped to the ground, twitching.

Scott bust through the office door. "Ohmygod Lani!" he said as he ran to me and dropped to the floor. Soon enough, everyone was on the ground, surrounding me. "I-I'm fine" I said as I slowly sat up. Scott helped me to my feet.

"She said she's fine, Scott" Aiden said, annoyed. "I still wanna help her" Scott said. Aiden rolled his eyes. "She doesn't need an—"

"Okaayyy" Stiles said, cutting Aiden off. "Whoever this is, they knew we'd come here .. wait wait. Guys we need to head back, now." Stiles said as he ran out the door. We all ran out the door as we heard a piercing scream. A girl. We ran faster, trying to get to the cafeteria.

The intercom turned on. "You're too lateee" a sing-songy voice came over the intercom. "One dead, many more to go" the voice said before the intercom shut off.

We bust through the cafeteria doors to see everyone huddled in groups. Some screaming, some crying.

I walked over to a group of people. "What happened?" I asked. "So-some some pe-o-people in ho-o-ded black r-robes came in and-and" the girl stuttered out as she burst into tears. "They gr-abbed ou-our friend and le-left. Then-then we-we he-ard her scream! She's dead!" the girl said, as she broke down.

I hugged the girl. "My friends and I are gonna get to the bottom of it, I promise." I said. She looked at me and smiled. "You and your friends are so brave" she said as she gave me a small smile.

I walked back to my friend group and grabbed Scott's hand before walking to the middle of the cafeteria. "We need to inspire hope" I told him as I stood up on the table, Scott following me.

Scott and I looked around at everyone in the cafeteria. People were huddled together in groups. Some were crying, some were just staring off into space. Others were talking quietly and some were pacing. I looked at Scott and nodded.

"HEY EVERYONE!" he yelled. The cafeteria was already kind of quiet in general, so it only took that one time for him to get everyone's attention.

"Okay! I know you're all scared. Everyone is." I started off. "But my friends and I," Scott said as he motioned for everyone to come near the table we were standing on, "we're gonna get to the bottom of it. We're going to try our best to make sure no one else dies." Scott said as he looked at me.

"We're gonna protect you guys. We're gonna find out who this person is, and get everyone out of here." I said.

"We just need you guys' cooperation. And by that, I mean NO ONE leaves this place unless we give you guys the say so to do so. We want everyone to be safe." Scott said.

"Now, you guys don't have to trust us. And you also don't have to listen. But we hope that you do because whoever it is that's tormenting our school like this will not get away with it. They killed one of us, and that will not be taken lightly." I said, as I looked at Scott.

"So please. I know we don't too much know any of you and you guys might not know us. Like KT said, you don't have to trust or listen to us but we want you guys to just put your faith in us. Faith that we WILL get to the bottom of this." Scott concluded as our friend group nodded to the crowd.

Suddenly, rounds of applause and cheers erupted from the student body. They were screaming at us, about how we were brave, and that we have their trust and their faith. We all grinned as we turned to exit out the cafeteria.

"This is a great first day here at Beacon Hills High" I said sarcastically as we walked out the doors to the cafeteria.
