We already arrived home, no not home but on his apartment i meant, that neither of us talked again like the last time we did so I tried talking to him again. He's in the kitchen just right now, eating his noodles quietly with his hard, stony eyes, not able to move around but just directly looking at the surface of the table, as he stirs the noodles with a spoon.
I peeked beside the doorframe and decided to walk slowly, stepping my left foot to my right foot, as I slid myself quietly on an empty seat infront of him.
"What's wrong?" I asked. He didn't replied back.
"I can help you Manu, if you can just tell me what happened.." I looked at him assuringly, but he didn't looked back.
"Uhh, are you going to talk or just ignore me all the time Manu—"
"Savannah could you please shut the hell up!" He stood up and slammed the table as the soup slowly drips onto the surface of the table. I was shook on what he did so I looked down, starting to have my eyes wet. I tightened my lips together while I fidget with my hands slowly as I sniffed.
He looked at me, horrified on what he had done and started to calm down a bit.
I tried not to tear up but I guess it was a fail. I'm such a crybaby. I can't help but just cried infront of him, as if it was my dad scolded me so much that literally made me cry.
He quickly went up to me as he tried to rub my arms, while me there, buried my face in my hands, and moved away, then I ran outside as he stood up and tried to catch me, holding my arm, squeezing it, as if he won't let it go.
"Manu, i'm trying to help you! I just don't get it why are you so mad at me for no reason that you're always pissed at me! I get it that talking with me is so pointless but I just want us to be fun and not boring. Manu—you are not like this when I first met you. You we're so freaking gentle like I could even trust you for anything but I just don't know why you changed alot since the past few days—" He aimed my face at him as he spoke,
"My girlfriend broke up with me okay?! If you could just understand my situation right now you should've had shut the hell up!" He snapped.
"you never told me that!"
"It's because it's none of your business!"
"And if you could've just told me that, I wouldn't cling you all day!"
"Did I even let you cling at me all day?"
"But I could've helped you with that Manu!"
"Help me? What do you want me to help on? Telling her to stop flirting with another guy? You don't even know her name!"
"That's why I want you to tell me what happened Manu,"
"It's none of your business Savannah."
"I thought that you told me that you were mad at me because I took so much pictures and it lasted for an hour.." I said as I was about to storm out of the room.
"You thought. Stop pretending like you have some money with you to run out of nowhere." He turned his back at me and went to his bedroom, until I heard him kicking the bed as he lay down on it, trying to relax from the frustration he had from a break-up.
I stopped crying and crossed my arms, walking in his room again as I sat on the couch, turning around facing the back of the couch with my arms crossed, testing him If he can sit next to me and apologise.
He glared at me for a second and faced his back at me again, facing on the other side of the bed, showing his back as he put his arm on his forehead, almost covering his eyes.
I looked back at him and furrowed my brows, as I stomped to the kitchen, making it louder so he could hear it but he didn't care. I was so hungry so I ate his noodles since he didn't even took a bite out of it, like he just stirred the bowl and that's it.
I went back to the room but I stopped, from hearing a knock on the door. I opened it and It was Josemy, his brother.
"Hola, señora! How's life with Manu?" He chirped cheerfully."Oh please, don't even ask me." I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes at him.
He looked at me with a confused look on his face and crossed his arms as well. "Why? What happened?"
"I already told you, don't ask me, ask him." I said as I pointed at his bedroom and looked back at Manu's brother.
"What's he doing?" He asked as he went inside without any interruptions while I closed the door.
"Oh, don't close it, just open it, i'm going to get something." He said as he went inside Manu's room as I heard like a rough felt rubbing each other until I suddenly saw Josemy pulling the couch until he was already infront of the door.
"Josemy, can I ask you something?" I asked.
"What?"
"Don't you have money to buy some furniture for yourself? Like you always get some massive stuff from Manu, including the bed that I was supposed to sleep on?" I raised a brow at him.
"Why're you concerned at Manu? I thought that you were mad at him."
"I'm just asking!!" I shout-whisper,
"Why're you getting the couch?" I continued.
"Uhh, party." He said without looking at me as he starts pushing the couch out of the door.
"Why do you have so many party occasions going on like you never run out of those events." I asked.
"My brother was right after all. You're so loud." He teased.
I rolled my eyes and walked out. "Ugh, you two are so similar."
"You know why?" He asked while smirking.
"Why"
"Because we both came out from our mother's womb. That's why." He said sarcastically.
"I'm starting to hate you now."
"And do you think I care?" He smirked as i punched his arm playfully letting out a laugh.
"Stop that. Got to get going now! Bye noisy girl!" He waved at me as I slammed the door shut while I heard him laugh behind the door.
I, then went in the bedroom to sit on the couch but then I remembered that Josemy got the couch. "Shittle bugs." I cursed.
"What do I do? Lay beside Manu? No that's not going to happen." I thought.
I opened my phone seeing so many text messages and missed calls from my friends: Alex, my sister Natalie, and my Mom too. I ignored them and started thinking on where I should lay on since i'm literally sleepy and we haven't slept at midnight.
I gave up and slowly laid on the side of the bed and slid my body in the most edge of the bed as I can do as soon as possible until suddenly I felt Manu facing his body at me as my face heated up again. I peeked at him to see what he was doing.
"Why are you here?" He asked coldly.
"Because i'm not there?" I slowly said sarcastically.
He huffed and rolled his eyes at me as I peeked at him again and he caught me.
"What are you peeking at?" He asked.
I jumped a bit and stuttered. "I-I uh.. nothing."
"Man, you are crazy as hell." He mocked.
"I'm sorry okay??" I sighed and stated.
"Why are you at the edge of the bed, you could've fall."
"Would you catch me if I did?" I asked as I faced at him.
"No." He said as he pushed me, ending me fall off the bed. "You stupid moron, don't ever do that to me!"
"I'm sorry, I will do that again." He smirked and continued relaxing.
