Going home and ordered another thing of pizza and took a well-needed shower. I knew this was the start of something new but could I still be happy knowing my friends might hate me? Later I change into something decent for bed and right on time the doorbell rings as a voice I knew told me to open up.
"Who is it?"
"Who else. It's Mae."
Opening the door and let her inside as she was wearing a pizza hit uniform with a box of pizza on one hand and the other a large soda.
"It's been a while. Here have a seat."
She did as told and took a seat.
"Let me guess. Was wondering if you get lucky tonight?"
"What do you mean?"
"Heh your clean and that's something I always wanted you to do and why would you order pizza this late?"
"Well I'm growing up Mae and for the pizza, Gregg ate my last slice."
"Oh, so Gregg did stay at the train station."
"Yeah. It was nice for someone to wait for you."
"..."
"Oh sorry."
"It's nothing."
Mae took a slice of pizza and played with the topping.
"So Mae mind me asking but does the other know I'm here?"
"Yeah Gregg, Angus, me, and my mom."
"Oh well, that's a lot of people."
"Small Town Remember?"
"Yes, I remember."
She gets up after a while of chatting and head out with a tip. Later on, I at a slice and go to bed wondering if they have changed over the years. I guess I'll have to see for my self.
