(Y/N) POV
Finished my meal and got dressed as I got a call from Angus telling me to head out with them to the woods where we normally have small parties at. Grabbing my stuff and a few drinks I finally made it to the place. Looking around I could not see anyone till I felt something heavy on my back for it me to fall over.
"YOU CAME! YAY IT'S (Y/N)!!!!!!"
"Hun... Paws off (Y/N) please."
"Sorry, Angus."
He nods as Mae walks over with Bea.
"Hey, Bea."
"Hey."
She took out a "smoke" and light it up to take a draw of it.
"So why am I here?"
"Oh, they wanted to make you a party or what ever.."
"That's nice of you all."
I hugged them as it turned to a group up as Angus pulled Gregg off a little.
"Heh let's get this party started."
"Yeah 'lets' get this party started."
A few later it was all set up as Mae and Bea was at the drinks while Gregg was cuddling with Angus under the tree forgetting we were having a bonding time altogether. I sat on the wooden seat looking at the trees till I fall off and hit the ground head first. It hurt but looking at the sky made it better in a way.
"It's been so long since I got to do this."
"It has?"
I turned to see Gregg coming over to sit next to me. He was smiling as if he was proud that I said this out loud.
"Yeah, it's nice to go out and chat with some friends."
"I know what you mean. It's fun seeing everyone with smiles on their faces."
Looking at his kick a stick into the fire and watched it burn as his smile turn to a normal face.
"What about you? I'm sure everyone is happy they have you so would not they love to see you happy?"
"What brings that up?"
"When you talk about them you lose that moment and goes to silence. It's kinda sad."
"Oh sorry, I'm just thinking. Noting but math I guess.'
"Math?"
"Yeah like how life is like adding and then take away and well..."
"Divide?"
"Yeah 'Divide'."
"I know how you feel."
I place a hand around him and watched the fire burn the stick with him. I wanted to let go but that would have been a dick move... Wouldn't?
"Hey (Y/N) how did you and Angus meet?"
"What brings that up?"
"I don't know. You just don't seem like the type I guess."
"He says the one who is dating him."
"I see your point but please tell me."
He sat closer and but now we were not hugging anymore. He was face to face with me.
"Well, I guess it all started at school. He was the one who always lived by the book even if you made one up he would like to throw what he can do to live by it. We were lab partners as he would tell me what to do by the book each time we didn't get it right. He would blame me for this and tell me how he wished I was not his partner."
"Why are you and his friends now?"
"Well, later that same day I went to the place I lived... Behind the DVD shop... In the trash and he was working for his father at the time as he was about to throw away the trash and spotted me. He was shocked to see I been living there for what he could see a while."
"Don't they throw trash off?"
"Not really back then. It was simple times I guess. He got me inside and I told him the truth about why I was there and how sorry I was for making his life a living hell. One thing lead to another I got to stay with him and we turned to brothers. I would teach him to have personality and he would help me with homework and seen Bae and Mae but after that, I had to leave..."
"Why is that?"
"My real family sent me a leader wishing to see me."
"And you choose them?"
I looked away knowing I did the wrong thing but in a way, I wanted to learn why they left me in one town that was so far off from them. I would tell my self that I was on vacation and they would come and get me at any moment but they never did for so long. I hated them but I can't anymore.
"Well in a way thank you."
"For what?"
"If you didn't go I think he would be dating you and not me."
I laughed at this and coughed a little.
"Dick."
"Yes, I give it."
We chatted a little longer till everyone left due to Mae was wasted again but this time more clingy to Bae. Cute I guess.
