Alec's POV
I had been watching TV when I got the call. They told me that she was dying, that she kept saying my name over and over again and saying my phone number. They said that I had to get to the hospital. They were losing her.
"MOM!" I cried. The tears just came.
"Honey! What is it?!" My mom,Laura, asked. Obviously worried as heck because I was crying.
"She-she-she" I couldn't get the words out. It was to hard.
"Alec!! What is it?!?!" Laura cried. Holding me close.
I just pressed replay on my phone so she could hear the voice mail.
"Hello this is Nurse Ames calling from the Mount Carmal Hostpital. I would just like to inform you that Umm... Sidney Dillon is wanting... Alec? She won't stop repeating your name and keeps repeating your phone number. Please come. We're losing her."
Then voice mail ended. I looked at my mother. She had to drive me. She had to. I was 13 and 3 years away from a drivers license. So was Sidney. Sidney. My love.
"Mom? You'll drive me right?" I asked, my voice cracking.
"Oh honey, of course! We'll get there as soon as possible." Laura says.
And with that being said, she grabbed her keys and walked with me still in a hug, to the car. I sat in back seat praying that The Lord wouldn't take her. I needed her. She is my love and my only love. I would never forgive myself if I wasn't to help her fight death.
