Release and Flames

Sidneys POV

I'm being released from the hospital tomorrow morning. Yay!! Ugh its like being chained to a wall! You can only stay in one position and you only get medicine no food. Alec usually has to come and lay with me for a while because I kept having nightmares about my father ever since he tried to choke me to death. And I still have to show him that I also have the power of flames. I think I'll show him today.

Alec's POV

I walk into Sidneys  room and she is awfully quiet. She seemed to be thinking of something.

"What're thinking about?" I asked her.  I think I scared the crap out of her.

"Geez Alec! You scared the crap out of me!" Sidney said. I was right.

"Well, tell me what you're thinking about!!" I say.

Sidneys POV

I take a deep breath and let the fire come out of my palm. Alec smiled and quickly did the same. He slowly walked towards me and he gently collided our flames. It came out in the shape of a heart. Soulmates. Alec and I are soulmates!

"Wow." Is all I can manage to say.

"Soulmates. We're SOULMATES!!" Alec shouted.

Suddenly Alec's mother burst through the door. We quickly closed our palms. Ending our colliding flames.

Alec's POV

"Mom!! Geez whats wrong!?" I asked. She seemed to be heart broken.

"Father. Dead. Plane crash." Was all my mother could get out before she burst into tears.

"WHAT?!?!" I cried. No this couldn't be happening. Tears slowly streamed down my face.

My father was gone.
