Chapter 14

"Ok so what is Kylie going to wear today?" Lydia asked herself because apparently decided that she's going to pick out what I wear since I'm staying at her house.

So I've been staying at Lydia's house since the whole incident with my father slapping me and then me running away like a scared little girl.

Mr. Stilinski had a talk with my mother the next day and figured out that she has wanted a divorce for a long time now but never filed for one because she was scared that I wouldn't want to live with her. I don't know why she would even think that I don't want to live with her because I absolutely hate my father.

So basically long story short, I've been staying at Lydia's even though Stiles wanted me to stay at his place, until the divorce happens and figure out if my mom and I get the house and my dad has to move out or vice versa. I really hope we get the house. I don't want to move, it seems like to much work.

"I don't know what Kylie's going to wear today because Lydia won't let Kylie pick out her own clothes." I said to Lydia.

"Well since Kylie has bad taste in wardrobe, Lydia is being a good friend by helping Kylie find something good to wear." Lydia responded while searching through her closet.

"Well now Kylie is offended that Lydia said she has bad taste in wardrobe." I crossed my arms over my chest. "And why are we talking in a third person point-of-view?"

"I don't know. You're the one who started it." Lydia looked back at me and then continued to search through her closet.

I took a seat on the corner of her bed and waited for her to find something for me to wear. She insisted on me wearing her clothes because I didn't grab very much from home.

"Ok let's see." Lydia said to herself. "Shorts or skirt?"

"Shorts." I answered for her. "Kylie really really doesn't want to wear a skirt." I gave her my puppy dog eyes just to make sure I won.

"Fine. Here you're wearing this." she handed me a tight black crop top with a silk white tank to go over top, cut-off denim shorts and gold-line sandals.

"Thank you." I walked off towards her bathroom and slipped on the clothes she gave me. I curled my hair and applied some light makeup before exiting.

When I walked into Lydia's room she was putting some books in her bag.

"Ready?" she asked me.

"Yep. Oo can I drive? Please."

She gave me a look like I was crazy but I just gave her an innocent smile.

"Why?" Lydia complained as we walked down the stairs.

"Because I never get to drive one, because I don't have a car and two, because I don't have a car." yes I pretty aware those are the same reasons but I really want my own car.

"Then convince your mom to let you have your own car."

"I've tried she just keeps saying 'you don't need a car, you're sixteen years old. If you want a car then get a job and pay for it yourself ' and trust me I don't want a job."

"Just because I feel bad for you, you can drive." she handed me her keys, closing the front door behind her.

"Thank you." I squealed heading out towards her car.

I get to drive, I get to drive, yay yay yay yay yay. I did a little happy dance before getting into the car.

Lydia sighed and shook her head before getting in the passenger seat.
