I fell harder than I thought I would
Deeper I fall everyday
I try to escape
But you linger in my thoughts
Every day , every time
Its hard to admit
Impossible to believe.
I'm scared, I've got to say
I don't wonna hurt you
Though I'm a series of bad luck
I'm shattered glass,
I'm a mess.
Beneath the beautiful
Is an unending longing
An undesirable desire
To have you
To make my wrongs right
To be good enough for you
To speak your language.
Beneath my smile
Is a heart that craves a connection
A heart that longs to find a home
A heart that is willing
To give up its all
To protect its own
Beneath it all,
Is a heart that loves you.
