hoseok straightened up himself in the mirror, somewhat proud of how he looked although, it didn't take long for him to dress up for the event.
"jeongguk! i'm heading out, okay?!", he chimes, walking towards the front door of the dorm. simultaneously, jungkook and yoongi perked their heads up attentively, quickly moving to the front door with him as if it were to be a race; yoongi won.
the only reason why the hitman actually cared about the male in this situation was that he needed to make sure that hoseok was his personal target. in order for this task to be a complete success, he needed to be the true cause of his demise ⎯ nobody else, but him. "hoseok! where are you heading off to?", the elder called out to him, his brows crinkled due to the fact he was leaving without much of a confirmation from him, personally. hobi hesitated to respond for a moment for the tone of yoongi's voice caught him off guard ⎯ his voice became a shade darker as it was filled with stringent matter. In spite of the sudden aggression contaminating his voice, his face slowly softened into a comforting smile.
"i'm going to a fansign, hyung. i haven't been able to host one in a while.", the younger replies, analyzing yoongi's next reaction; he loosened up, thankfully. "you know you'll be able to host one as well, right? you don't have to be so tense."
yoongi fluttered his eyes towards his words, now realizing what he was saying. deep inside, the smaller male cursed at himself for bringing his behavior to an immediate notice but, he had to shake it off. "yeah, my bad.", he mumbles softly, although this was more of a grumble.
"it's okay, yoongi. you didn't do anything wrong."
hobi nearly frowned when he didn't receive a response from the older male, by all means, he didn't wish to see the rapper so effected by one simple thing that wasn't even classified as a mistake. his attention was diverted due to the fact jungkook had witnessed the mini-scene go underway. the hitman noticed the maknae stand there, although he refused to make any action.
it was weird ⎯ the way jungkook gazed at him for it was incredibly unsettling, even for yoongi.
"hobi hyung, why are you leaving out so early?", jeongguk questions, taking mild steps towards his friend.
"awe, is it wrong for me to get a head start?", the happy male chimed sweetly until he started pouting. "you two need to loosen up."
jungkook released a grunt of uncertainty, averting his eyes for a small moment. yoongi kept himself quiet as the room began drowning in silence. hoseok felt chills rumble down his spine since the uncomfortable atmosphere distracted even him.
"hyung, why don't you come with me?", the second eldest suggested earning a puzzled yet surprised reaction.
the pale man asked with furrowed brows, "me? why on earth would i go to your fansign?" hoseok released a happy scoff as he placed his hands on his broad shoulders.
"ah, come on~! you'll be a VIP or a guest! come with me, yoongi hyung! don't you realize i am inviting you?", the journalist pleaded. yoongi's face became deadpanned for he never has been officially invited to any event such as a fansign. of course, this was all just a temporary role that would bid his organization well. jungkook was obviously about to speak up as well since he didn't put enough trust into yoongi ⎯ in fact, he didn't put any trust into him at all.
the pale man began walking away from the younger men and the door, not wanting to be bothered with the situation. hoseok, however, frequently continued his pleading with him so he could empathize that his hyung needed some loosening up. they were going to be staying with each other for a while anyways. before yoongi even got to his room, he was already agitated by the nonstop begging and he was actually about to raise his voice which he could not do that for he needed to be showing a calm, neutral impression.
a small sigh flew past his thin lips, turning back to the happy man. "alright. if i quickly get my clothes changed, will you still be waiting for me at the door?"
with that question, a victorious spark flashed within hoseok's eyes. "yeah, i will!"
"give me seven or eight minutes."
yoongi instantly turned his back to hobi, making his way towards his room to change. jungkook approached his best friend right after he heard the shutting of the door, chaining his arms with his elder.
"hyung, are you sure you should bring him? you two haven't known each other for that long.", jeongguk mentioned, eyeing the rapper's closed door. "what even makes you think you can trust him?"
"kookie, calm down. we need to at least give him a chance, after all, we don't know what he's been through.", hoseok spoke up, his lips bending up to a frown. "show him at least a little respect, okay?"
"but, hyung⎯"
"please? for me?"
"tch."
