yoongi sat in the black leather seat, watching as the younger male searched through the store since there were so many possibilities to what he could buy and take home. his eyes followed hoseok around the store, trying to contemplate how to get rid of this kid so he could finally call this mission a success. here he was, supposed to kill a man yet now he's spending his money on him just to make up for scaring him this early morning. as of now, the hitman wore a black face mask and a charcoal colored cap with the denim jacket and jeans he put on.he felt like a parent, watching a his little child play and run around.
"hyung! hyung! i can get this, can't i?", the energetic voice chimed, pointing to spiked wrist bracelet that probably costed at least eight dollars due to it's high quality. yoongi slowly nodded his head with half-lid eyes of low interest.
"sure.", the pale man answered, holding back a rough sigh. 'my poor, poor wallet.'
yoongi almost jumped when hearing a surprise buzz vibrate in his back pocket. taking it out from the pocket, he noticed a familiar number was trying to get in contact with him. "hello?", he mumbled softly into the phone while keeping a close on hobi.
"yoongi."
"byol?", he gasped quietly, turning the volume down on his phone. "now's not the time to be contacting me in public."
"i know but, this is rather a critical emergency for you and this whole organization.", lee byol stated with much seriousness and authority leaking in his voice. "obviously, i have bad news—"
"hyungie! i'm gonna get this, okay?"
yoongi immediately groaned in complete embarrassment earning a chuckle from hoseok as he quickly continued to shop and adore the items in the store. the pale man heard nothing but silence on the other line.
the hitman took a deep breath before speaking slowly as he attempted to find the correct words. "byol—"
"you haven't killed the kid yet?!"
"obviously not and be quiet, you're being too loud!"
a noise of frustration was loudly being made from his superior. "yoongi, listen. someone broke through our firewall, cracked multiple passcodes and are now trying to look through our organization's folders and files.", he explained, his voice moving at a thousand miles per hour as the sound of clicking and typing made itself as a background noise.
"what?! who could've—"
"jeongguk, i'm going to be with yoongi today, alright?", a happy hoseok informed, intertwining his hand with the elder's slender, pale one. jungkook, who had a cup of steaming hot chocolate instead of coffee, stared at the duo in puzzlement. his brows furrowed, although he managed to smile.
"alright then. i'll be in my room, just trying to come up with songs and stuff.", the youngest says, allowing his lips to touch the hotness of the chocolate drink, using his free hand to pick up a notebook filled with unstacked papers. papers that were filled with numbers and letters, like they were network and areas codes.
yoongi's eyebrow twitched. "that little shit."
"what's the matter, hyung?", hobi asks in worry, his lips becoming an soft looking pout. "you know i don't like it that much when you curse."
lee byol kept quiet once again, knowing that yoongi was fortunately pissed, not to mention, he had a (somewhat) innocent kid that he had to watch over only to kill later on; there was a lot on his shoulders. "hoseok, put all of that on the counter! i'm going to pay for every single thing, we need to get home.", the hitman's voice spoke in a rather demanding tone resulting in a shiver to trickle down the younger's spine. with no bit of hesitation, hobi flew over to the cashier who was patiently waiting for the duo to have their items ready for checkout.
a smile curved on her lipstick coated lips, giving the man a smile full of warmth and assurance. "don't worry, i'm pretty quick on the counter so this won't take long, okay?", the lady stifled a light laugh towards the nervousness of the customer in front of her, already beginning to move her arms quickly to scan the expensive clothing waiting to be bought.
"i think he really does care about you.. or he'll learn to.", the lady mumbled lowly with care, making sure to safely place the clothes within the plastic bag. hoseok smiled at the statement, his heart fluttering - he really wanted to be friends with yoongi for he knew he had a good heart, despite his cold nature.
lee byol only continued to hear small huffs and breaths of anger and frustration, it's like he could practically feel the threatening, violent aura seep through the phone and intimidate him. byol hesitated to say a word to his client over the phone, however thankfully, the hitman spoke for him.
"don't worry, byol. i've got this one covered."
it's been over a month and a half wrow
