"Hey what's going on here?" I asked as I got between the rioting.
"They won't leave him alone!" Verniyui, the Velociraptor's leader spoke.
"And what were you going to do with him?" I asked deeply glaring at the injured Icarey.
"Kill him." He laughed.
"You won't," I yelled without any breath between our exchange. He gave me a confused expression as I grabbed Icarey by the scruff of his neck and evaporated from sight. Rheon and Cornelius followed by crawling in darkness away from the riot.
"I don't understand you," Rheon asked when he walked into the room where I was walking in circles around Icarey.
"A-ri-cuu." Icarey coughed. I sprinted to his side.
"Icarey you freaking idiot." I muffled and nudged his bloodied cheek.
"Couldn't resist." He smiled and looked up at me.
"Icarey." Cornelius muttered and shook his head. I closed my eyes and placed my head in his neck fluff.
"I'm sorry Aricu." He said and got up onto his hind legs.
"I guess I'm sorry too Icar." He fell into me out of sear yearn.
"Wait what?" Rheon said trying to analyze this situation.
"I'm a little confused too," Cornelius muttered.
"Don't leave my sight you thistleweed."
"I'm a rose!" He fooled and bit my ear.
"Thistleweed!" I shook my head.
"Rose." He glared at me.
"Thistleweed." I pushed him onto his back.
"Are you two ... dating?" Rheon cringed deeply. I gave him an answer by rubbing noses with Icarey.
"Ew." He said disgustedly.
"Find the other Badgering foxes you two," I growled staring at them retreat quickly.
"Are you okay?" I said when they were out of sight.
"I'm fine." He giggled as I licked his forehead clean from blood.
"You don't seem like it." I continued until his face was clean of blood and cuts.
"I feel okay now." He bit my tongue.
"Yea right," I mumbled through a stuck out tongue. He giggled and let go.
"I missed you." He sighed happily. I smiled back and licked his nose.
"It was no longer than an hour."
"You know you love me."
"Yeah yeah of course I do." I fluttered nibbling on his fur.
"And I love you too."
"Oh how I'd love to prove that but we gotta find those pesky foxes." I sighed and got up from him. He pouted but got up anyways. I brushed our pelts and began pacing my speed.
At least 7 hours later of searching the whole kingdom and not get killed we were finally reunited with every single damn fox.
"Jerm, outta breath?" Jess snickered, she and Luffy were the hardest. I huffed a breath as Icarey protectively placed his head on my shoulder and lifted his eyebrows.
"Whats up with those two?" Luffy giggled softly.
"Ugh." Rheon rolled his eyes and looked away. Neil mumbled something and whacked him over the head. I shifted my head and closed my sleep deprived eyes. I heard a click behind me.
"Yet again we're all ready for another transfer. Hopefully, by the seems of it one that hasn't banned their species." Cravistan said suggesting at the Badgering Foxes. I gave an amused huff of breath.
"Okay...Hup. Time to go."I lazily sprung up onto my legs. Groans and mutters followed easily afterward.
"Be quiet," I growled and climbed into the vents. They followed gradually and made sure not to throw their feet around. The night was young but the Galraen were persistent and sharp on their feet but foxes are sly and deceptive. Though this exhausted me greatly.
We quickly made it outside and gathered silently in a field abandoned by society. All the possible worlds we can go to. None really worked, too small, too bad of a reputation.
"Got any ideas where to go?" Icarey mumbled softly, I threw arms onto my hair and pulled on it.
"No, I've got none. None at all!" I said loudly.
"Wow. Calm down." Icarey put his hand on my shoulder.
"I can't, okay? Not until I know where we're going. Now I've got to look out for useless bastards!" I said louder than before and swiped his hand away.
"Does the Nisroin have a planet?" Pieter overheard my shout and suggested something completely random. They do but I doubt they would let Torment stay there...
But Niddfgdfg on the other hand... We could have the Light's territory for a small while we figure it out with those foxes. \they've got a strangely strict council, half are dimension hoppers, others are royal. But the hosts the hoppers leave off are still, I can be wrong, like brothers to them.
I stopped for a few seconds before jogging to a nearby suflux, a light that had been planted into the ground to calm runts that wandered far away. Shapeshifting had a lot of perks, I can transmute anything if it is connected to my life source... including exhalation which means I can capture something out of atoms by using static electricity in a sort. I exhaled and waited before I grabbed a small orb made of the purple light. It played on my fingertips as I jogged back and past the Badgering Foxes, Icarey stared at me confused as I grabbed a handful of sulfur and placed the orb into it. It stuck onto it easily, covering its light. I jogged over to a piece of flint and stabbed the orb with the slightest effort it split open a slight bit. Perfect.
"What even?" Pieter protested. I looked over at him with the sulfur orb.
"Persuade object." I smiled and walked past.
"Huh?" Icarey muttered.
"The foxes can help us.' I sighed and pointed out and waved for Minou to flap over.
"Get the Torment to the Lights, We foxes need to visit the 'Seraphs'." I don't exactly believe in the hierarchy of Angels or the concept of a god but the Nishroins followed their perception even through the celestial war.
"So we're going to our blood brothers?" Rheon yawned and sat beside me. I played with the orb as Minou fluttered away.
"Basically," I said and threw the orb at Icarey, he caught it flexible.
"If you mess up the Carbon dioxide, sulfur or light. Close your eyes." I said quickening my feet away.
"Why does he get to have it?" Rheon yelling asked.
"Queen's privilege," I said and vanished afterward. Rheon looked between I and Icarey skeptically. Icarey safely held the orb and walked away carefully. Rheon was certainly left in the dark here. It was amusing to confuse him though, it was the comic relief at the very least.
"Aniqye, Minou, Felth, Verniyui, Reth, Elric, Nina, Travis, Reed, Fluffy, Bambir, Salmon, Narra, Heqis, Sdee, Paca, Caliprey, Serthe, Vasto, Lio, Uraniay, Cravistan, Zee, Yark and Zaxs. Guide your people safely through, I have some unfortunate business to attend to." I announced the leaders of each species, in alphabetical order of the species. I took a deep breath and looked up at the moon for the last time before doing what has to be done.
