That's when i saw him. Jacob, who was supposed to be too sick to come outside, or pick up the phone when i call, was striding over to me and my truck. He had cut his hair. His beautiful, long, flowing hair, all gone. Whilst i was lost in thought, he managed to stride over to my truck, and i was brought back to reality by a sharp rapping on the side of my window.

"What are you doing here Bella?" he asked me impatiently
"

I came to see you Jake, I felt that i had to see you. It hurts when i don't" i replied, sounding a little bit pathetic.

"I don't care, you need to leave." he said coldly, and with that, he walked away leaving me there in the pouring rain.

After a while of staring after him, i sank down to my knees. I don't know howlong i was standing there, but it seemedlike hours. Billy shouted at me from his spot in the doorway, Bella. Charlie called, i told him that you were on your way home." then he rolled himself back into the house. I didn't hear the words properly, but somehow i knew what he meant. Charlie was expecting me home any minute. I had to leave. I heaved myself off of the hard ground, and got into my truck soaking wet. It didn't matter, i had left the window down by accident and now the entire cab was wet. I drove myself back to charlie, i glanced at the time on the clock, it was already 1 PM. It was crazy how time flies, even if your'e not having fun. Charlie ran out to greet me with a towel, it had stopped raining by then. he wrapped it round me and steered me inside. He was murmuring to me the whole way, but i wasn't listening. my mind was fixed on the moment that Jake told me that he didn't care.
